I caved and bought the Guerlain holiday quad 😂good thing is I so far like it. The pink is a pretty blush and good crease shade and I really like the copper and burgundy shimmers as liners. Pretty good tones for green eyes. But it sure isn't the easiest to wear for most people. Also love the aura glow release from last spring BUT I really also want to see a neutral or cool option and better balance of light and dark shades
So topical! I’ve been eyeing that quad for weeks, not completely vibing with it, but so intrigued nonetheless. Your review has confirmed that it’s a skip for me, as I have the Undressed Brown and the other colors in so many quads already. As for the fragrance, I tried to test it at the Guerlain Disneyworld store (where Sofia’s bestie works, ironically!) and it was sold out, so I picked up the Forte Oud Yuzu instead, which I love. I am a huge patch fan and have quite a few of Delphine Jelk’s concoctions, so I’m going to seek out a sample of this since it doesn’t sound like it’s a good blind buy at that price. I bought the giant bottle of Patchouli Paris because I was so worried it would sell out and I loved it! "Earthy" and intense and so true. Smell lingers for sure!
Hi Jennifer: Thanks for featuring Guerlain’s spring 2025 eye quad and featuring the KissKiss balm in Dalhia. The eye quad is definitely more wearable than the last two LE quads. I intend to get a couple of the balms. Your review of Patchouli Paris is interesting - on me, the iris is more prominent than the patchouli so it’s sweet and feminine - and it lasts all day. Thanks, Jennifer! I've been busy hunting down the lunar new year case. I'm not excited by the cherry one either. If I was going to get a Guerlain nude palette (which I may) I would do one of the earlier brown releases you mentioned, probably the one that leans orange.
I did a lookalike while I watched your review. I combined the Pêche Glacèe from Chanel with the Brun Fauve and Amber Star from Dior and it came very close I think 😅 Love Patchouli! So Ill try to get a sample from this fragrance... thank you for the review!! You lifted me again ❤ seeing as it s not very nice here at home for the moment....

I think this collection is completely boring, and I think it was a total cash grab on Guerlain's part to change the lipstick component. Is it me, or did the brands skip Lunar New Year? I actually look forward to those collections, but I haven't really seen anything. Mac usually does a nice collection, but not this year.
I agree with you. The Lunar New Year collections were absolutely dismal this year. And as for Guerlain, I think many of us-to use Jen’s word-are salty about the changes they made to their iconic Rouge G case and component.
I think that Guerlain has shot themselves in the foot by bringing out this Quad. Sure, it's very pretty, but I own both of the Wild Nudes & Undressed Brown Quads, so why would I need something virtually identical? With all of the stunning colours spread across the universe, why would they choose a colour scheme so very similar to the ones released not that long beforehand? Are they having an artistic block? Unless one is obsessed with buying every Guerlain Quad, why would any of us who own the Undressed Brown & Wild Nudes wish to buy this Quad, especially during a cost of living crisis worldwide? The brand seem a tad disconnected to reality at present. In regards to the new lipsticks, I thought that after your rant and how furious you were with the brand, that you weren't going to be buying these new lipsticks. This was due to the fact that you had continually recommended the prior incarnation of these lipsticks to those of us who are either subscribed or view your Channel. You said that you felt horrible for recommending them, only to have them changed and we could no longer use these cases ever again. It was only the year prior to last, that I had been recommended these lipsticks via this Channel because I suffered very dry lips. Despite being a Sale time, I bought eleven lipsticks/cases. Now, I'm stuck with products that will be nothing but landfill when the lipstick is used. I've been surprised to see that you have been buying these new lipsticks since stating that you were too angry with Guerlain to buy these new ones. Are you going to stick to your morals and us subscribers, whilst continuing to contact Guerlain while we show our outrage, or have you given in already and are happily indulging in Guerlain's new lipsticks? If you felt so bad about recommending these products, why aren't you boycotting them whilst trying to get Guerlain to change the shape of the cases so that all of us will be able to keep our older cases, and continue to use them, instead of adding to already overloaded landfill. It's not as if I'll ever buy their lipsticks again after being stung so badly by a brand that couldn't care less about its customers. To change these lipsticks without any warning whatsoever is unforgivable and they should not be forgiven so quickly, in my opinion anyway. I've been turned off the brand entirely from how they have treated us. There are many other great brands available and I've been thoroughly enjoying these instead, without feeling a twinge of guilt. We should not be giving in to these brands after they have treated us so badly, most especially without a fight. All I wish to do is bunker down inside with my a/c until it's finally bearable to attempt an outside jaunt. Goodness knows when that could be?🤷🏼♀️ As the Australian saying goes, I haven't been a very happy little vegemite. Could not find the Cherry Blossom case anywhere in the USA but it is on the Guerlain Canada site as well as Holt Renfrew if anyone is interested.
