Hope you enjoy the video! Yes I may be a bit of a disaster in the kitchen but at least I had fun with it!
Just the usual disclaimer: this video was filmed a few weeks ago, before I left Cambridge - I'm now at home with my family, on lockdown. Stay safe everyone, and please stay indoors.
(Oh and one more thing: I posted a video over on The StudyTube Project RUclips channel yesterday, where I tried to teach a mini astrophysics lesson on stars! Check it out here ruclips.net/video/Tr1Nb3QGeW4/видео.html )
Oh...I was actually going to ask that why ur there? Lol
👍
With all respect, I work in a kitchen with one of Gordon Ramsay's chefs he found it funny when I showed him the onion scene.
@@willbiddle9402 so you are gordons chef too?
@@mairathorn3331 she has a teleportation machine.
Me: "Ed, stop backseat driving"
Also me: "That pan is definitely too small Paige"
Hahaha you may have had a point though 🙈
the chaos that started as soon as ed and will entered the kitchen 😂😂
So true! It was THEM that brought the chaos, not ME! 😉
"who has a spaghetti bolognese family recipe?" literally every Italian family on this planet 😂
Actually, I'm italian and here "spaghetti bolognese" are served only in touristic restaurants, it's not a thing here. We have the "ragù alla bolognese", the meat sauce, and we do eat it with spaghetti, but is not called spaghetti bolognese. Actually in Bologna (bolognese comes from the city name) the ragù is rather served with tagliatelle, wich is the fresh pasta made with eggs. 😊 we also use ragù for the "pasticcio"
@@Puffolina15 I know, I'm Italian too, but I just meant every family has their own recipe (our technicalities are hard to understand for people abroad 😂)
@@PlanningNerd 😂💟
Yeeess!! I'm italian and based on which part of family I talk to (my mom's, my dad's or my stepmom's) they all have a different recipe for ragù. So I guess I have three different recipes for ragù 😂😂
real spaghetti alla bolognese are a fantastic receipe with tuna actually. ragù alla bolognese (the one with meat) is usually served with tagliatelle or tortellini but never with spaghetti!www.ilsole24ore.com/art/gli-spaghetti-bolognese-sono-tonno-svelata-vera-ricetta-tradizione-felsinea-AE3X96zG
Never have I seen a more accurate portrayal of cooking in the student kitchen
Another tip: you must taste the food as you cook it. So you can adjust salt and spices. I think it's great thar you dared to cook as it isn't as easy as people think. It's actually difficult. You'll get better everyone's first meals are like this.
ed has definitely got hotter since the last time he was featured in the vlogs 😂🤩
Hahaha... I thought I'm the one who noticed... 😂😂😂
How not to cook Spag Bol
This was so entertaining and the recipe was cool for us beginner cooks! Make this a regular series!!
Laundry section beware, Paige’s cuisine it’s gonna be the new favorite segment
This is possibly one of the most chaotic videos I’ve ever watched. I was getting secondhand stress
I love you Paige. I think your mistake was the size of you “tablespoons”. One of your tablespoons was probably the equivalent to the 3 you needed
I did think this when watching it back ahaha 😂
Laughed a lot when I saw the massive loaf of bread. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Keep going Paige one day you will be Michelin star chef. 😇😇
Bread for days hehe 🥖🍞🥖🍞
@@PaigeY Exactly 🤣🤣 .
If Cambridge was Hogwarts then Will and Ed are George and Fred Weasley for sure
this is poggers
Hey paige
Can you make a video on how to be productive during quarantine?? You motivate me a lot and watching your video will help me be more productive
Also this video was so funny LOL😂
Stay safe everyone
Nandini Whatever Ruby’s just done one it’s pretty good 50 things check it out until paigey makes one👍
I tell you this as a “friend” . If you ever go to Italy , ask someone (possibly Italian🙏🏻) how to do spaghetti bolognese or ,how we normally call it in Italy, “pasta col ragù” 😂🤣(ragù= tomato sauce with meat). You can improve cooking during quarantine 😉
Will is in LOVE w/ Paigey !!!!! He steals the kettle and stalks Paigey while cooking....
This was really fun.... Exactly what happens in a shared student accomodation 😁😁😁😁
Hi, Paige. Just want to say thank you for such wonderful vlogs. Your vlogs really inspired me a lot. Seeing such a busy life in the uni of Cambridge really makes people want to go to study and get good grades! I heard the situation in the UK is not that good so I hope you will be safeeeeee! Please wear masks if you go out. Please be safe! You are my favorite RUclipsr and I really like you!!! 🥰🥰 you have no idea how happy I was when I saw my comment was liked by you 🤪🤪 just be safe and safe and safe and safe....... 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀really love you 😘
@TheRenaissanceman65 stop spreading ignorance please. To say masks don't work given the size of the droplets is patently insane. Not only do they work, but a simple bandana is effective. Not as effective as a N95 perhaps, but they work.
@TheRenaissanceman65 Are you actually stating to the world that a mask is 0% effective?
@TheRenaissanceman65 Also, what do you think is contained within the droplets?
TheRenaissanceman65 I have you fool, I don’t go on the internet and make stupid comments.
TheRenaissanceman65 it’s entirely sensible for me to ask you not to spread wrong information that can quite conceivably cause harm. I did, you got defensive and called me wrong. I’m not. Let’s just agree that even though conventional media has said that masks do no good, they in fact do and people are much better off protecting themselves as much as reasonably possible during this difficult and stressful time- which I’m sure you can agree with if you’re a reasonable person. I tell everyone I know because they all seem to feel the way you do and it’s ok to be wrong. You can do a test with photons in a bandana and you’ll find it about 90% effective. Which means agains these droplets the effectiveness is north of 90%.
I apologize for snapping at you.
One way to entertain yourself during a quarantine is to watch Paige’s attempt at cooking haha 😆 keep up the great work!
Paige, it must be an incredible feeling to walk on Cambridge road, through old walls and being inside, studying in one of the most prestigious Universities in the world. I hope you get best of memories and experiences from it. It was my dream)
I love your videos! Not being a native speaker of English, I apreciate you describing step by step whatever you are doing. That makes a perfect opportunity to learn new words :)
Already love it!!! I bet this will be hilarious but I’ll save it for tomorrow!💙
Paige, I love you, but my Italian soul is suffering XD
Full marks for a valiant effort. Stepping out of your comfort zone is always hard but it's worth it. Well done!
I absolutely loved the bloopers in the end!
aww that's so cuuttee 🥺💞 I miss my uni friends so much 😔 so this brought me so much joy 💖💖😭
Hi Paige, thank you so much for upploading your videos and sharing your Cambridge-student experience with us! You are one of the most amazing and inspiring persons I have ever seen. And still, you managed to stay so humble and fun! :) Your videos helped me so much to get through my last exams before starting to write my master-thesis in chemistry one month ago. I just wanted to say "thank you". :) I hope that you as well as your friends and family will manage to stay healthy in these difficult times. And of course, after Corona is over, I hope that you will be able to continue and finish your studies very successfully! :) All the best wishes from Germany!

I really enjoy you’re videos ❤️👏🏻. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽
Dear P, I'm really happy that you shared you recipe to us, even if I'm Italian and for us spaghetti bolognese are actually spaghetti with ragù 😂 For italians food is a big thing but I do not expect everyone outside our peninsula will cook the italian food as we do. So if someone will criticize you, please apologize him/her. If you want some recipes comment this! I'll send you some good stuff to do in quarantine by DM! Stay safe!
Paige. Congratulations for finishing your cooking. Hhhh I was so excited that I got an MPhil offer from Cambridge two weeks ago. Hopefully could see you in Cambridge!
Hey Paige! This is definitely the first time I'm commenting on RUclips! Woohoo you're the lucky one! Well I really love your videos and honestly the way you study makes me want to study and work hard more! This video was absolutely fun to watch! I really love your bond with your friends! Sending loads of love from India!
P.S.- hoping you'd reply to my comment
One of my work colleagues has a very eclectic way to make lunch - she just rummages in her fridge and see what’s there! It’s always interesting to see what she comes up with 😂 she’s Italian so may approve of bolognese and the biggest loaf of bread in the shop
That bread looked so good
it looks delicious) I'd definitely like to try it)

Hi Paige, could you please make a video on staying productive during the corona virus lockdown? Thank you so much for your positive energy and great videos.
You have a wonderful friend circle. You are so lucky. And of course......no offense....they are lucky to have you too.

Paige...you r far better than me..in cooking...if I was you with Onion and board...the pieces that are in the ground.. would be in the pan..and Max of Onion on the pan would have been...down in the floor..I am that messy
Wow I'm surprised that it looks delicious even though it doesn't have pasta
Plese more cooking videos. :)
All right, the main thing is that she didn't burn the house down.
Exactly! This cooking venture was a resounding success!
Why is it that in most families the younger sister is the best chef/baker?
My younger sister is the best baker as well!
Have you ever seen Jake Wright's Cooking with Jake #01/Spaghetti Bolognese ? Very funny as well.
hes a mackem tho....you might catch things watching that channel.....stay clean stay pure!
Barbara Baker omg no I haven’t seen this, but I’ll have to go watch it now! Big fan of Jake Wright ☺️
@@PaigeY Hope you enjoy it. I think it's hysterical. I, too, love Jake's videos.
Are you going back to university anytime again?
I don't know the English system, but in austria everybody studies for 5 years, 3 years bachelor and then 2 years master :)
In the uk we only study for 3! It gets us our bachelors degree and we can then chose to apply to a masters course or to get a job and start our career :)
Some bachelor courses are also 4 years long since there's an option to study abroad, or work in the industry for a year between our 2nd and 3rd (final) year
Ahh ok interesting, because it's completely normal in Austria to do a masters degree. I barely know anyone who left university "only" having a bachelor's degree 😅
It's 3 years bachelor and 2 years master here
@TheRenaissanceman65 same in Austria, exams aren't gonna start before july, that's kinda annoying.
That’s a big kitchen
Yes we were lucky to have one that big!
