Come along with me to the first Cambridge formal dinner I've been to in nearly 2 years! It's a special Black Tie themed event run by the MCR in the Emmanuel College Hall, with prosecco pre-drinks, a 5 course dinner, and post-dinner entertainment and cocktails - along with some surprises along the way! Dinners like this happen around once or twice per term, so they're something to look forward to in the academic calendar.
This is my first go at vlogging an event like this so bear with me as I figure out how to do this properly (pls excuse the shaky footage haha the wine wasn't helping!).

Izzy, every single video of yours is like a good book that is a page turner. As I had mentioned in one of the earlier videos that your voice is very soothing and calming to hear from start to finish. The best part of this particular video was your quick wink of an eye while you’re getting ready to go to the dinner. I’m a person who likes places and countries with a long history especially The history of Europe. Although I never got a chance but it would have been quite an experience had I attended either Cambridge or Oxford university. The formal dinner was such a nice gesture by the school. I thought it was a black tie dinner yet I found a guy wearing a white tie. I notice things like that. I can’t wait to see all your future videos.

Truly memorable experience for you, what had my attention also was the chapel built by Architect Christopher Wren, the fact that I study Architecture, Cambridge University sights is interesting. Delightful. I'm pleased to say I shall be coming to Emma in the fall(!) to start an MSt (held at the CISL, next door to Emma). Sadly, my week-long periods there for my part-time hybrid programme occur outside of the Normal Period of Residence, so it appears unlikely that there will be a Formal whilst I'm there. I'm not even sure I have reason to bring a tuxedo or dinner jacket.

When I see this scenario of your life I remember my college life it was a golden period of my life, but not highly sofesti just according to our locality and bound to be in Indian culture and society, it was the day I will be talking about since 1978 when I was studying in first'year I belong to middle class family, and only me who was studying in fines art's college all the students coming from convent school 🏫🎒 and to settle with them was very hard for me, but I always setting with new enviornment and born for struggle, and it was a good hope for me to get brighter future I was famous for me drawing and painting in my school my school companion and most of friends are going into the medical College, at the same time I hope I will be a great artist likely to be a doctor and all my friends had trus on my carrier even though drawing teacher also having a trust in me no doubt I get a higher education in drawing and painting 🖌️🎨 than my drawing teacher but I always pray then because they are my visionar to lead my paths and I am proud of them.
So I wanted to explain in more details but for this time it is enough for me #Vision creator.

There are not many female students in the medical school, however it is opposite in Canada. Nearly half of the students are female.
I think Women in the U.K. gravitate towards being a Vet.
In my day, formal halls would've required gowns. Is that just an Emma thing?
