A very interesting build from very limited resources! You've combined all the possible minimalist materials with a strong pattern to create a pleasing symmetrical build. Quite a bit of a departure from the usual 9x9 "Direwolf" platforms, random island spam or huge platform at Y-level 0 of most Skyblock playthroughs typically seen on youtube. It will be interesting to see what is possible as the build pallet expands from basic oak, stone and looted materials.
Thanks for the compliments! I enjoy using patters on large flat areas to help keep it looking detailed even though it is effectively just a big circle. Plus, the limited build pallet reminds me of playing Minecraft when it was much smaller and you didn't have ten different wood types and like 30 stones. Working with just what I have is fun, and it's one of the reasons I'm holding off on progressing too fast. I think it will make for a more interesting build in the long run.
I would love to hang in this build in real life with its ‘cozy’ forest and impressive layout/design. The mods you used are really fun. I have to try them. I love your Minecraft builds. So glad to have Minecraft videos back on your channel.
