  • Rich Wilkerson Jr sits down to read the first chapter of his new book, Friend of Sinners. Following his first release titled, Sandcastle Kings, Rich Wilkerson, Jr. explores the theme of one of Jesus' most controversial nicknames.
    Why was Jesus accused of being a friend of sinners? Why did he put top priority on relationship, not religion, acceptance rather than performance, and value friendship with him before behavior? In Friend of Sinners, you’ll discover a different Jesus, a Jesus who will radically change the way you see God, yourself, and others-a Jesus who will never give up on you, never stop loving you.

    Jesus truly is a friend of sinners. He has been my friend since He first came into my life and believe me, I was quite the sinner when He came into my life, but He healed me and saved me and has made big changes in me. Jesus and Father God are the Best friends someone could EVER need, ask for or have! I can testify for that 😉❤✝✌🙏🙂
    God doesn't hate the sinners, He hates the sin, but He loves the sinners because they're still His children, some of them are lost and broken, but they're still His children and He still loves them and wants to help them.

    Thank you, the first chapter reveals compassion in love, if I only knew this 10 years ago but it's good to know Jesus is a friend of sinners.

    Watching Rich read 1st chapter is why I bought the book on Audible app. So Rich could read me the whole book. Having a paper book is great but listening Rich read the whole book to you is better. If you you text: Audible to 500-500, they’ll give you a free audible book, I 100% recommend getting Rich’s book Friend of Sinners!!!

    I'm still waiting for the AoG church club to blow up the "money tithe lie".. see Bible Untwisted: Tithing... group on FB. He's got great message but let's not mask our love of money over God. Let's preach what's been kept secret far too long.

    You call Jesus a "man of God" no He is God.Jesus is not a friend to the sinner so we may continue to live however we like, He is the redemption of the sinner to teach us a different way. Yeah we all fall short of the glory but He did come to turn the wicked to righteousness. The problem with your entire approach is that you see no need for righteousness to be born in that new given life, you try to paint creation as acceptable to God without change.

    Jesus - friend of sinners indeed! He rebukes them and makes them repent of their sins. A typical false teacher doesn't have balls to rebuke them, but rather he drunk with them.
    2 Timothy 4:1-4 King James Version (KJV)
    4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
    2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
    3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
    4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
