    While Jesus’ greatest command for us is to love Him, and love others, that command includes loving ourselves. Before we can love others, we must learn to love ourselves. Pastors Rich and DawnCheré preach together and remind us that God wants to heal our hurts, soothe our aches, and drive us towards our destinies, which He laid out before we were even born. If we want to build healthy relationships, we have to look inward first.

    Jesus is our message. People are our heart.
    We exist to bring people that are far from God close to him.

    Thank you for serving this community. I appreciate it when couples preach together so that everyone has something to relate to... looking forward to finding videos with resources/ideas on how to practically "prepare" for the future.

    Thank you so much for your series about relationships Vous Church! I praise how God led me to you while I am struggling so much in my relationship right now. It is helping me a lot. We are both Christians and are serving God and the tests indeed challenged us a lot. I praise God for keeping me in His hands despite my failures for not knowing a lot of things but I also know, I need not to know everything and just trust the process. 🙏🙏🙏

    LOVE is what keeps us together in the difficult times, the choice to love them still

    Until you get your relationship with God right, your other relationships will never be what they COULD be.
    Wow love this. Thank you.

    “You can’t truly love someone if you don’t love yourself.” A few years ago I struggle with loving myself and noticed since i was struggling with that. I didn’t love people the best way i can. Now I do love myself and i noticed I’ve gotten so much better at loving others. I show love to strangers , in the past I didn’t. Learning to love yourself definitely takes time but it’s possible to love yourself. How I started loving myself is i stopped saying negative things about myself and i started saying positive things. The more I’ve done this, the more I believed the positive things. After this i started to find my identity in Christ, I searched up “ my identity in christ” then wrote it on a piece of paper and began declaring it out loud every day till i believed it

    I know this is three years old from when it was being preached, but let me tell you what really stood out to me. “Are you the one, the one that’s looking for?” Such powerful words

    This gave me SO MUCH hope! Now I KNOW where God has me! I KNOW purpose and direction now, I don't feel lost in this area anymore because I surrendered this area to God, it took getting hurt to get here but I wouldn't trade it in for the world! May God bless the both of you and your church family!

    "love yourself" Narcissism is the answer!

    • @lexc9479
      @lexc9479 7 лет назад +3

      Love the others as you love yourself,, thats not narcissism or egoism, is just and order of things

    • @EmJay2022
      @EmJay2022 7 лет назад +1

      Alexa Chavarria, the Bible does not say "....as you love yourself"! Christ says to "love your neighbor *as yourself* " meaning to treat others as if that person literally was you. Big difference! We are not to love our own image because we are sinful and fallen. There is nothing to love about that but we know that God loves us so we should treat others as if God loves them (and he does). Christ said those that love their life will loose it. Be careful with what these people teach!

    • @joanneponnappa
      @joanneponnappa 6 лет назад +6

      So many people don't treat themselves right. Because they don't feel good enough. I fell into that category where I was extremely insecure and so when I was in a relationship I made they guy I was with so insecure. Because even though I loved him, I couldn't see his worth because I couldn't see my own. I only saw flaws in me and him. So it does make sense when they say learn to Love yourself and they did say build it on the foundation of knowing God first and Loving God first. So it's not wrong at all.
