Exactly what we are experiencing now. My wife's resumption date is 4th January and tuition payment deadline is 13th December. We have been waiting since October. We cant defer because her chosen course won't be available till Winter 2025. So, we want to go ahead with the payment and perhaps try this method.

Mid June, I was invited by the Canada China International Film Festival for the CCIFF event in Manitoba starting on the 13th of July and running through to the 30th of July. I submitted my application three weeks ago.
The event starts in 6 days and I am yet to get a response for the visitor VISA.
I watched your video to the end and just like you said, I realize that my application is not up to a month yet.
My question is, though it will not be nice to start abusing this privilege of reaching out to a Member of Parliament but do you think this is a step I should take considering the fact that the event is just 6 days away?

You’ll still get the visa if its multiple entry.
How ever you need to have a reason when ever you are entering Canada. And it should be reasonable to the immigration officers. Such as another conference
