Okay, I have to admit that if it IS true that they passed away, my extreme condolences and sympathies to the family and friends. However, this just reminds me of when I was like, 10 (ish?), and a friend got cyberbullied to no end on Neopets and faked their death to make a new account and start fresh without being followed by the people stalking them. It was so dramatic and over the top, but that's what kids do, it's the only way they know how to cope and handle a situation like that. Absolutely childish behaviour and I hope sincerely that Kaviix doesn't have anymore crap like this happen to them again.

Hearsay/fearmongering. Someone tried attacking it and finding a way to get rid of the cloaking for it, but it didn't work. The creators of Nightshade and Glaze have some of the solutions that the attacker provided that gets rid of the cloaking, but the attacker announced that they don't work. They don't have Glaze or Nightshade for videos yet, but you can use it for any drawing you post. If someone's saying it doesn't work, it's an AI prompter trying to discourage you.
the only problem is when they try to pass it as their own , as hand drawn when it isn't. but its strange in general how the hell he managed to mess that up so it looked that similar to the other one. there's 3 ways that can happen. 1.- dude created a lora of a single image and it overcooked to the point it could get very close to the original 2.- he took the same picture and put an AI filter on it , or img2img which is basically the same thing 3.- similar to the second one, he took the original picture and passed it through some kind of controlnet and generated from it, this is basically the tracing equivalent for AI, imagine that. there's responsible ways to use AI and make sure it doesn't replicate or plagiarize the original art but this dude clearly fed the original image directly to the AI, its because of clowns like him that people think all AI works that way, there's a lot of misinformation about how they really work, one thing is to fed with the actual image and another one is to train a model, the diference is that one uses the image itself directly and the other doesn't so its incapable of recreating anything one to one unless you very intentionally do it.
I have no idea why the aibro said it was fanart- any AI image thats claimed as art is now SCAM-art! In all seriousness though, shoving someones own characters into AI to make some 'fanart' of them is insane behavior. The only people that enjoy AI images and call it 'art' are people that have no idea why people started drawing in the first place. At one point it was a language, and now is something that people can admire and get better at. We're still figuring stuff out, but worse people are coming.

The difference between ai and artsist u can chicken scratch and leave a random.stroke on accudent but u arent gonna shade color and render the random stroje
As comment above mentioned there is some apps that can generate 3D objects from irl, however I am 100% sure that it would give pipelines more work than manually modeling the object in question because AI has just like in art no knowledge about the fundamentals because it mimics material it's trained on not knowing how to actually do it. That means as much as it doesn't know about proper topology, and having good one is a MUST because otherwise you cannot possibly rig it, bad rig equals bad animation, bad animation equals bad product. Sure you can retopologize it in blender or maya but AI creations are so far from perfect, fixing would take as long if not longer than modeling by hand so in general it's at the current state of technology useless ig
Yes there is, actually a few where you just type a prompt and a 3d model with textures is created and outputed as an FBX file. its not perfect tho and needs to be fixed.
I saw a post on twitter a fewonths ago of an AI plugin for blender that could generate semi-simple objects, OP used it to generate a couch/sofa and other than some wacky vertices it was pretty convincing for something created in 2 minutes, very disheartening
@@danzirvine Dang, I think it will be better finding that I already rigged the character right in Blender. I just don't know yet. I followed a tutorial for making the armature and see the body parts moving along with the armature. Not sure if I even need Rigify at this point. This is for a character that I made in Gravity sketch and imported into blender as an OBJ file. I gave up on making them in blender itself, and started using Gravity Sketch to make my characters, weapons, props, since they could be ported directly to the mesh with some customizations to the weight paintings.
