Love the look of these boots! Sadly they didn't fit my feet at the heel, could move my foot a lot up and down even with the boots fully tightened and a smaller size. Got the tcx rt race pro now and fit perfect!
Can attest to the wear of the soles. Have had my Vertigo Airs for about 18 years. Replaced the soles about 3 years ago. Have had my Rex Airs for about 4 years and they still look NIB though I don't wear them nearly as often. Both are great boots though I believe the Vertigo Airs went away like 12 years ago.
SIDI makes great boots, used to wear alpinestars.....switched to crossfire for MX and SIDI was perfect.....parts are all replaceable and by far most comfortable solid boots ive ever worn Huge fan of SIDI footwear.....
I'm considering the Sidi Rex boots, but I'm concerned that the largest size is 48. I usually wear 49s in Alpinestars road boots. Max, Brian or viewers: Do you have any comparisons between Alpinestars and Sidi sizing to share? Thanks.
I am actually switching to Sidi I am considering the MAG1 tho not sure if there is a huge different to the Rex model tho?, I have narrow foot aswell & had the issue with the pegs & the hole
Comparing the two models the Mag 1 has less bracing in the ankles which reduces the lateral protection a bit while increasing the movement and feel for the rider. - Van
Sidi is one of the best footwear brands in the industry. I would say these are on par with Alpinestars. Some riders prefer the fit and feel of Sidi while others Alpinestars. - Van

We are all shaped a little different which is why it is good to have options. TCX also makes a great boot. - Van
Still running Sidi Vortice since 2013! Nothing beats changing the sole with a few screws. Sadly no longer this perk on new boots models. Wonder why...
It did not end up being as popular as Sidi expected so they stopped incorporating it into their boots. - Van

I find the Sidi to run a little narrow as compared to the Alpinestars. If you need a 49 in the Astars a 48 in Sidi is not going to work. - Van

Been seeing Mag-1 24's replacing regular Mag-1's on European catalogues... is there any difference with the new series?
There are new colors available but the boots themselves are the same design. - Van
