Plenty of money for foreigners (and for SO MANY other countries, most of whom hate America) yet they have to "save money" somehow. One way (apparently) is to cut back on American veterans.

Military retirement is b/c we spent 20+ years fulfilling our service to the military & as part of our contract, receive a pension for that service! VA Disability is due to what that time serving our country did to our body & mind! So someone with 4 years could effectively be paid more than a military retiree! They are 2 separate forms of payment & need to be kept separately! If a person has less than 50% disability they do not get both, this is wrong, but to consider taking away one shows trump & the Republicans’ disrespect for our service!

Personally I don’t fall into the bs fake “football game” dichotomy they’ve [all] put us in. They are considering only their bottom line, and while taking our entitlements, they are feeding their own criminal syndicate. The only reason for a D or an R in front of a politician’s name is to get elected based on where they live. My point is this… it doesn’t matter what red herring they put in office, bureaucrats (who are not elected) are destroying this country, and our “representatives” are simply paid puppets offered up to take the fall for it. Our “gvnt” sold out the American People when they became a criminal business (organized crime syndicate) in around 1869. The Corporation of the United States of America is the monopoly game we have all been born into.

That could be challenged in court. But if we - as veterans who all honored our part - just allow this to degrade into one more round of "Grampa Joe" vs "Dementia Don" we've already lost. It's not about R vs. D. It's about what the freaking government promised us.

So I appreciate everything everything you do at your channel. Especially because you and I are both veteran brothers. Disabled combat veteran and I was made aware of these when they first came out back a few years ago and I looked into them and I discovered that they do this regular basis where they go over pretty much everything that has money involved and they just keep things on the table and consider the possibility of keeping open ability to reduce costs. If you remember when President Trump was in the White House, he had a lot of issues with a lot of Republicans that didn’t support him. They went against him. I know he was against these things because I remember specifically seeing things and hearing him discuss some of these issues that you’re pointing out right here, they went against his advice now, if I have time, I will post another comment with the link to those videos or discuss this. But this is something that is a regular thing where they always look at big programs that have a lot of cost and they always keep them open to reduce the money possibly. I agree this is something they shouldn’t be messing with and going forward. I’m not concerned because I know that there are countless ways to reduce billions if not trillions of dollars which will actually happen. It will finally happen this time and that’s because the government will be reduced in size. It should not be anywhere near as big as it is, and that is the waste of trillions of dollars, which will make a massive difference, quite frankly will make a paradigm shift in the actual size of our debt will improve our debt so I’m not worried. I really am not. a lot of this is garbage and a lot of these things that you’re talking about in the later part of the video are actually pretty good. We just need to stay aware such an awesome dude and a great patriot because you take your time out of your life and your day to make people aware of these things and as long as you do that and there are others like you that you will stay on top of these things and enough of us will pay attention to work at stopping the things that are gonna hurt veterans And that’s what we’ve been doing so God bless you, brother

This is Somewhat long, however important, please take part of your valuable time to read all five paragraphs.
Regarding comments at ~ 9:40. I am a Vietnam veteran and nearly died in combat. One of my wounds was to the top of my head causing a learning disability and memory loss. After being in combat over 100 times, had also had an extreme case of PTSD (found out many years later). I was in Western Tay Ninh province along the Cambodian border, the 23rd Infantry had a brigade there (1/3 of a division). The enemy had four full divisions, we were the blocking force to keep them away from the generals in Saigon further to our Southeast. More Agent Orange was dropped there than anywhere else in an effort to spot enemy activity from the air.
In 1990 I could no longer work, lack of sleep, nightmares, episodes of rage and so on. After looking at my DA 2-1 the local county veteran's representative said he felt I had PTSD; until then I had never heard the word and had no clue what he was talking about; confirmation came after I entered a VA hospital. I fought the VA for 4 years and called them VC. The VA lied about my war experiences, continually refused to give me benefits, harassed me to the point I wanted to kill them. I finally decided to go to the news paper and handed them a copy of lies the VA had put in writing and a copy of my military records for comparison. In short order the VA had one of their quack doctors look at me and I was awarded 30% disability. I had been angry at them for so long, learned to hate them and the system. They had pushed me to nearly killing myself. It was an evil kangaroo court that I that I had to attend. So, I never tried to get more benefits, until April 2023 when my brother insisted I try to get more benefits. After my first 4 years of attempts I didn't want to do it, being fearful that I might lose my mind. I lost 10 pounds in one week and during the following months my mustache became grey along with some of the hair on my head, the thought of going through that again was heavy on my spirit and flesh, I aged 10 years in 2023. However, what I found this time were doctors that cared and was awarded 130% total and permanent disability (several were granted at 0%, probably because I have survived).
10s of thousands of Vietnam veterans committed suicide after the war and I blame the VA for murdering them. Times have changed for the better. This time around honest people listened to me and made the most honest decisions mere humans can make, the result was results. No more lies or harassment. Still, I considered it an act of God that brought about their more recent decisions.
At ~ 9:40 I had to comment. Treatment and my experience in 1990 to Nov 2023 were worlds apart. I wish that I had this kind of investigation, without the hassle and lies in1990. I found the private companies to be very helpful, they always kept me in the loop as to progress and upcoming VA examinations. The problem VA bureaucratic with a mind set to deny benefits and they went out of their way to push veterans into their graves, and the state of Ohio was the worst, rated 50 out of 50 put them at the bottom regarding impropriety toward veterans, their needs and denial decisions. I, for one, am grateful for the changes.
Please excuse any misspelling or grammar, I have very little energy, and attention to detail, an old man made older by the war, the VA, kidney ailment, heart malfunction, foggy mind from Agent Orange, memory impairment, living in and drinking Agent Orange, and being blown unconscious multiple times are only a very small part of my experiences, physical and mental stress, duress suffered in that war and the impact of very close mostly teenage friends KIA and post wounds KIA, and suicides after returning to "the world". I am so feeble that I can barely function - on a "good" day or night. I would not want the clock turned back to cause me more mental suffering.

Four individuals Trump nominated as ambassadors were also involved, along with several enforcers of his controversial immigration crackdown. And about 20 pages are credited to his first deputy chief of staff.

Hey Bro, any of my FOIA requests for C P Exams did not produce ANY RESULT until months after the claim was final adjudicated. It was not like you could get a copy of CP Exam timely, though all but one of my CP Exams were by VA Contractors. The one exam done by the VA was a paper review only, a straw-man approach using the paper tiger to try to deny my claim based on total bullshit. I might add as of my VA-Contracted exams were done well with good outcomes. VA tried to say I had an airway issue prior to service as a root cause of My sleep apnea. This was easily refuted with a solid professional letter of diagnosis, treatment and nexus that my condition was probatively caused or aggravated my condition. Game over--granted. FTVA and the Souix Falls letter writer of a cookie cutter letter aimed at denying the veterans his claim for sleep apnea. Again, FTVA!

The VA has improved the past few years for me. I don't care for third party care, I actually had more problems with them, doctors couldn't comprehend the unique health conditions and things exposed too. The fact I received a letter from the VA identifying me as a K2 veteran and recommended I apply for benefits was jaw dropping. They have also had video conferences with VA reps. My care team is proactive with all the health conditions I have and I always follow up with everything on my end. I honestly never thought I'd be saying I choose VA for my health care. It isn't perfect, but you can at least speak up with constructive feedback, not complain and blame. Im in the upper Midwest great lakes VA and wish other areas of the country would be consistent because I hear a lot terrible things from other vets not getting decent care. I was brought up to think Republicans were suppose to better with veterans care and benefits but I was going off tavern and vet club gossip. I think there will be more greed and less accountability when it's contracted out. I saw that when I was in the reserves and we had to go through third party managed by LHI.

I get 70% and a 26 year retirement is coming later because I retired from the reserves. . I’m also very right leaning. The think tank that wrote this up, pitches it to all elected officials. Many of their ideas are right leaning, but it’s not a “republican” plan. Bits and pieces of it could possibly get adopted. Most of it never will be.
Let me tell you something. I read up on, and utilized every angle of the system in order to max out my benefits, and collected in full, all while farming and making $500k/yr as an airline pilot. The biggest thing for me, is my state waives my property taxes, and while I live in a 160 year old priceless victorian mansion, I’ve been here a long time, and completely rebuilt it. I’m grandfathered in on a pretty low tax basis, so my exemption zero’s out all the property taxes for my residence.
It’s become pretty much the norm now, to begin the process of a warm handshake and transition to the VA for every retiree. Back problems, knee problems, oh boy now I can call my snoring sleep apnea. Hell, I did it! I walked on a knife’s edge of getting a 1st class medical to fly, yet keeping my rating.
I contribute twice the amount of my VA disability payment to the local veterans home. I get farm subsidies for conservation practices. I give that to the local YMCA system. I pay a lot of other taxes, for me, it’s about taking some of my own money back, and using it to benefit others, instead of the corrupt government. But others depend on it to live. I pray they leave all things veteran related, and pour billions more in to addressing veteran homelessness. The lefty’s are putting up millions of illegals in nice hotels, and sending all of us the bill. All while so many of our veterans are on the street. Both sides need to be held accountable.

I'm increasingly frustrated by the constant emphasis on cost-saving measures in our system, with seemingly no attention given to the well-being of our veterans. It feels like all the focus is on cutting expenses, while those who have served and sacrificed to protect and defend this country are being overlooked. It's disheartening to see the system prioritize money over the people who have dedicated their lives to its preservation.

Got a law passed to almost instantly fire VA execs without due process and the Senate called it out for being abused, focusing on low level employees with little to no program responsibility. Trump did the mission act, but claimed responsibility for the Choice Act. GOP tried to block the PACT Act. It passed and Biden accelerated the delivery schedule of PACT Act benefits. I tell people it’s like a contractor building you a house saying lumber prices went up so they need $10k more after you agreed on a price. What would you say. You’d tell him not my problem should have bought sooner. So why do we not hold our government contractors accountable. I may be off on this, but part of me believes that this was making the rounds over the past week as damage control. Not suggesting that is your reason for addressing that at all, Clay. You are discussing something that is all over Veterans discussion sites and across social media...totally respect that. My 2 cents worth, think tanks like the Heritage Foundation, and even the Congressional Budget Office to a degree, are charged with suggesting ways to reduce spending. This is why those groups exist. However, I think we also have to point out that while CBO has suggested Individual Unemployability and other benefits go away each year; nobody has wanted to risk the fallout of taking those types of actions....yet. It's good to be informed, not just on what is currently being discussed, but also that things like this aren't necessarily new and very rarely are implemented when it comes to a bipartisan supported issue like Veterans benefits.

Equating the CBO to the Heritage Foundation is a mistake. The CBO exists to provide options for Congress to cut costs and have no dog in the fight so they don't care if their ideas get implemented either way. The Heritage Foundation is the most influential conservative group in existence, back by billionaires, and has been affecting conservative politics for decades now. One of the most disturbing things in this playbook is how they want to convert many more government positions to presidential appointees.

I don't see how taking away CRDP is going to make a huge difference, in saving the Federal Government enough money, to offset the fallout, especially since only about 17% of military stay till 20 years full retirement and all the other restrictions that have to be met to receive CRDP. I'm not holding my breath, but I don't foresee CRDP going away in my lifetime, at almost 63, and think anyone that watched this video, and is receiving CRDP, and didn't totally understand it, I'd take what you heard with a grain of salt. Negative. Nothing is exactly spelled out. This is also a proposal from 2017, that has yet to be implemented. The PACT Act involved new claims. It wasn’t a vote for removing current benefits. It was a vote against a new category of claims. Imagine the inherent, significant political repercussions for removing current earned benefits. Imagine the voter base you would lose. And keep in mind, you wouldn’t just lose the veteran vote. Veterans are not just one demographic. Veterans are black, white, Asian and Hispanic. All families that are currently dependent on earned benefits. I’m not saying don’t worry, and I’m not saying we have a magical force field around us. But imagine running a reelection campaign. Your rival is going to wheel out Vietnam/OEF/OIF veterans who are missing limbs, holding their children’s hands. I don’t suppose that politician would get a warm welcome during the Army-Navy game. Let’s wait and see. Let’s see what our state reps and congressman do. Finally, let’s get some clarification. Nothing is spelled out in that. That is paraphrasing if I’ve ever seen it. I don’t know if you have any legal experience, but I have lots of courtroom experience. This proposal explains nothing, because it is merely an outline, lacking the substance we need.
