True, but it still doesn't mean the effort to convince someone of the falsehood is not essential, especially coming from Arizona's chief legal officer. He's knowingly spreading that lie to the people who are most receptive to hearing it, he's not challenging them or providing them with supporting evidence that is contradictory to their feelings. How long would Brnovich last as a prosecutor in a courtroom setting if he continually brought cases forward based on no evidence at all, just "feelings"?
What's irritating to me is he's using a valid argument to scrutinize the results carefully for accuracy, but juicing the scant findings voter fraud to the nth degree, and suggesting to only a fraction of the audience that the lack of fraud must indicate a larger conspiracy of an effective coverup. We know there's no monsters under the bed, and so does he, but he keeps putting that fear in the mind of the kid sleeping in that bedroom that there *might* be something he missed, and it's good that the kid sleep with a baseball bat next to the headboard "just in case".

The conspiracy that the election was stolen and the conspiracy that suppression is based on racism are two side of the same wooden nickle. There is a voter apathy gap, where it takes more motivation to get Dems to vote. Since neither side will admit to this gap, they make up conspiracy theories. The GOP made up the fraud lie to make suppression palatable to their base. The Dems also made up the racism lie to make ease of voting more palatable to their base. I understand the idea that only people who care should vote, but I see no evidence that caring increases a voter's ability to pick the correct candidate.

John, thank you for keeping Marks feet to the fire. He has double clutched this issue to whom ever he talks with. For all intents and purposes is the chief of the double tongues. I live in Buckeye AZ and depending on which news station or channel Mark rides the rail between truth and dishonesty. You had him squirming, thanks for being the advocate to so many frustrated blue voters on this issue. Any chance you can take on Kari Lake? Thanks again and vote💙

Wow. Imagine if everybody just thought that way. Imagine the work that could get done. Attacking ideas and policy instead of attacking the person behind the idea itself is how it should be done. Period.

This conversation really reminds me of conversations I have with government officials who will say “We can’t help you because of your visa type” but will NOT say “Our policies, which restrict immigrants on certain visas from receiving the same welfare benefits as full citizens, are discriminatory.” It’s the same thing but one is the full truth that makes them admit the harm they’re doing. People don’t like to admit they’re part of a system that results in the suffering, death, and disenfranchisement of others because then they’re not “a good person.”
