Great car comedy. I'm a car guy and this was hilarious. When the guy was talking about the string for a gas pedal I laughed. Been there, done that. Except the string kept breaking and I changed it to a phone cord. And mine was a stick shift!! Talk about coordination.
Oh my at first I was thinking phone cord like pigtail old school phone cord,and was like that wouldn't work . 😂 I've used several odd things for a stick shift. And in my 70's VW Bug I had only one window crank. So I would leave it under the seat and roll either window down with it. Or hand it to the passenger as I downshifted to take a turn and the glove box popped open so I automatically shut it until I put a magnet in there to latch it. I could fix anything on that car because I knew it inside and out. Usually just from my toolbag on side of the road . Still have it. Don't have the heart to sell it . Every time I drive it I'm like I love this thing. His names Kirby. Not to be confused with the VW vehicle named the THING.

As a German (born and raised, don't let the pic fool you) that had a VW Jetta in the US that constantly broke down as well.... Please note that they are NOT built in Germany. I could tell because I broke several laws going over 100 mph on the highway and I thougtht the car is about to fall apart (1 yr old car!). I can go much faster on the Autobahn and it's no comparison - absolut smooth sailing. I know it's comedy, still felt the urge to post this... 😅

someone gave my mom and I an older dodge ram truck and someone hit it in a parking lot while we were shopping and this woman waited to tell us about it and my mom thanked her but said "well it does say RAM on the tailgate" and she just drove off. it had several other dings done by my mom and the previous owners as it was a work truck but not a farm truck. I think she made that lady mad!

i'd love to ask him if he really thinks his stupid sparkle-mobile being shipped all over the world, from japan to china where child slave miners get the nickel cadmium and cobalt for the batteries and such, then to a bunch of other countries to assemble it, back to japan then to the us, all on giant, polluting, inefficient container ships, is somehow helping the environment. then I'd like to point out that a gutless car like a prius is super inefficient trying to maintain highway speeds, whereas a v8 mustang or truck or bmw 5 series is barely sipping gas, and can cruise along at 100 probably using a similar amount of fuel. also those stupid battery packs end up in a landfill and kill the environment even more lmao I love cars more than anything else in this world, and it's destroyed my soul watching them be corrupted by hybrids and now almost totally ruined with virulent ev's. prius driver can F straight off on outta here : p
