I don't see many uploads from you lately but please know that I've really appreciated the content that you produce, it really is first class and so helpful!
This dude goes the extra mile every time. He makes it look so easy and so simple in one go! Just gel-coating an old fiberglass boat makes it look 10x better!
It’s a lot more to it than it meets the eye…. It’s not that it’s so hard to do but you just have to it and in sequence… it’s a process but still cheaper than a brand new boat…!
Glad to have you back! You are without a doubt the best RUclipsr with boat restorations! You’ve actually inspired me to start restoring 2 of my dad’s boats! Enjoyed the shenanigans in this video and cruising around the marina checking out boats was cool and new.
Hey Joey maybe you should upload the video of your dads boat restoration on RUclips. That way you can not only get feed back from the community but also show off the legacy of your family’s history, even if it just a boat:)
I have a huge huge amount of respect and admiration for the work, and expertise you showed during this project. The finished product shows the results of you're determination to do it right, the first time. Massive thumbs up to you ... Anyone who buys a boat from you should watch this video first. Really, I can't say enough! 👍👍👍👌👌👌 Rick
Great job bringing the sea pro back to life. I like how the boats you choose still have good gel coat and decent motors and trailers. That boat's got a lot of good years left in her!
Honestly blown away by these videos. Your skill and craftsmanship really shine at the end when these get on the water again after years of sitting idle in someone's back yard or in this case a town impound lot. Best boat restoration channel on RUclips and its not even close.
I have a 2004 SeaBoss , same boat as the Sea Pro. Bought it new, keep it in my garage. It still looks brand new and has been an awesome boat. Nice restoration on yours!
Great video! My father passed away from COVID last September and he has this same exact boat except it has a 90 hp Mercury. My mother didn't know what to do with the boat. This really gives me a great start to get his eventually restored back to a condition like this. Thank you again for the great videos you provide! I'm going to Marco Island FL at the end of the month. See you on the water!
Really enjoyed the video, so satisfying to bring a tired old boat back to it's full potential and make it so awesome, it was a labor of love for you and I felt the joy.
These are your best videos, your editing game has gotten tight! I would love to see a cost, hours, sale price breakdown at the end. Keep making great videos.
Love your stuff. Glad to see a new video. Little tip... drill your hole next to the line next time when cutting your holes. No need to put it in the middle. You can just start right at the line.
Let's go! Crazy transformation. There's not a detail you don't skip over either. On the boat side or the quality of the video. 27 minutes of well enjoyed boat entertainment. Keep uploading :)
You make it look so easy. I bought a used Blue Wave 2400 Pure Bay that looked like it was in a hurricane or something. It's been 5 weeks of working on it nonstop and I feel like I'm barely getting anywhere. It's not even a very old boat but it looks old at the moment. Hopefully, before summer is over I'll catch a fish on it. Thanks for the inspiration, just got to keep at it.
@@LITTLEBRAT775081 I could assume he puts allot of money into them as you can tell by what he does. I'm not that deep into it. I will clean the boat an service the engine but that's about as far as I go into. I don't have a channel to go all out on them like this so typically a really nice cleaning an great running engine still gets me great profit and quick selling. To me a quick turn around an moving onto the next project is better then going all out an waiting a while to sell because of the higher price tag
What a great boat well bought ! Respect for restoration, looking really good! Love this engine also, so reliable. Only thing i would have put a white prop on it. Detail.
I've watched several of your boat fix-ups, and enjoyed every one, though I am land-locked, elderly, and not a boat person. I just appreciate the way you work on your project boats and usually, or I should say always, come out with a great result, and make a bit of money for your trouble when you sell. One thing - those center-consoles are very popular in Florida, so much so that I am surprised that an old dirty boat goes for as much as it did - $5900 including taxes and auction fees? I would have guessed more like $2500, but I guess a 90 hp engine alone costs more than $5900.
Beautiful Job as always ! You have what most all of us lack which is vision . Love the grey and white on the deck . The radio and cooler addition . 10/10 .
Every one of us has seen a grimy used boat for sale in ads or on the side of the road and we always pass it up. In my case it's because I simply don't have the know-how to do what this guy does. This guy is living the dream. Resurrecting boats like this must feel really good at the end of the day.
I just found this. you should definitely make more videos about boat repairs (in addition to the restorations), this is really good content. Very cool watching a video from a guy who can renovate the entire thing solo.
Excellent video. From what looked junky, you turned it into a brand new looking boat with extras. Having your knowledge and skill certainly helped, but a great restoration.
Bro, every time I watch your video, I am inspired to work on my boat and once I get to it, I end of giving up and taking to a mechanic...LOL But thanks for continuing to inspire. Ill get there one day.
Great job on cleaning the boat up a very professional job, and you can't beat a Yamaha 90 I bought one of the first that was in the Key's. Stay safe out there!
You did a wonderful job. If I might suggest, move your winch mast forward a tad so that you can move the hull forward to achieve some bunk(s) under your transom. Won't require much and will maximize transom support. Thanks for a great video.
Well there goes 27 minutes of my life that I will never get back. I'm not even a boat guy but loved every minute of it! Just absolutely stunning. Love the gray floor contrast. The cooler and seat combo is spot on. Very impressed with the disection of the engine and drive train. You obviously have done this before. Thoughts about what you have in it and what it would sell for? Now before your next restoration, clean up your back yard! Btw, I subscribed.
I like these types of videos, I especially like when you get into technical tidbits on how to fix individual parts, maybe even expand on sharing your knowledge of repairs.
Wicked looking boat dude I would love to have something like that here in the uk, you've made a superb job as usual 👏 👌 missed your vids man were you been?
Dude... you just inspired me to go this route for my first boat. I used to be a mechanic, then started working on aircraft about 15 years ago, and now fabricate wiring harness for aircraft/install them. I feel like all of my life skills have culminated into the ability to do something like this without stressing out one bit! lol I was looking at getting something like a new skiff until the inflation thing happened and prices jacked to $30k dollars or more. That price for me would also require a loan... which would also add in an exorbinate interest rate now. $4.5k plus new items should be much more friendly to the savings account. No loan required. How much did the repairs costs set you back since you did the work yourself?
man this is legit. ive been binge watching your vids for the last couple days. if i may ask, how long does it take to do a flip like this? waiting on parts and such.. the work you do on these things seems like quality and class. ive been thinking about restoring my grandpas old fishing boat but all i know is engine.. nothing related to boat.
I did the same thing to a 26 years old Century 1860. The similarities are incredible! Now I want to do the gray deck paint! Thank you for the inspiration!
Awesome restoration! Looks brand new and appears to function that way as well. Quick question. With all the boats that you have redone, do you typically sell them immediately or keep them for a while to enjoy yourself until you find your next project? Keep them coming!
