Looks like more of a road rage incident and the guy followed the victim to the bank.. No signs of taking the victim's wallet..
A would-be thief and his dog attacked a 68-year-old man outside a bank in Fort Lauderdale during an attempted robbery, and the entire incident was captured on surveillance video, authorities said.
The attempted robbery was reported shortly after 4 p.m. March 2 at the Bank of America at 888 Northwest 62nd St. Police released surveillance video of the attack on Thursday.
According to Fort Lauderdale police, the victim was withdrawing cash from the ATM when the shirtless man and his large dog approached him.
Police said the thief punched the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground.
“Once on the ground, the suspect ordered his dog to attack the victim, punched him approximately 13 more times, and kicked him,” a news release from the police department stated. (From Channel 10 News)
