    Lovely video. I’ve booked the Verna DCT Turbo too! Just wanted to enquire you about the black seats. Does it make the cabin overly heated up - especially considering you’ve picked it up in the summer (May). Do you have covered parking spot or is it out in the open as mine is in my Bengaluru home

    • @guruprasadkm
      @guruprasadkm  Год назад +1

      Thank you, Kaushik! Yes, these black seats being leather is a pain. Luckily I have covered parking so there are no issues there most of the time. But, when you park in the sun the cabin gets too hot. Even if you put the AC in full blast it doesn't help. So I have come up with some workarounds. I roll all the windows down, and open the sunroof so that the heat dissipates quickly out of the cabin and after it cools off for a bit, I run the AC to allow the cabin to cool down. This is the challenge I face.
      If you don't have covered parking, I think you should find some shade if possible, else use a reflective car cover.

      Thank you so much for the feedback and I'm glad it helped. I was in the same situation as yours at the time of my purchase early least year. I hear booked an Alcazar which I cancelled after taking a test drive of the Verna. It was pure love at first drive! Now, as far as the ground clearance is concerned, it has been good. I have got the bottom to touch the speed breaker in a couple of instances over the last 18 months of owning the car. 100% nothing to be worried about. I hope I have helped and there are more videos on my channel that you could look at where I have gone much more in depth. All the best!

      @guruprasadkm  Год назад +1

      I have a done a tank to tank mileage test of the car in both city and highway conditions. However, haven't recorded it on a video. You can take my word on this. In the city, you can expect 8 to 11 based on traffic conditions. It can go lower too if you drive in bumper to bumper peak hour traffic with AC on in cities like Bengaluru or NCR region (gurugram). However, on the highways, I have always received a minimum of 16kmpl with full load and AC on. Highest seen mileage for me is 19.5kmpl with same testing conditions. Hope this helps.

    • @guruprasadkm

In 250 kms round trip I got around 19kmpl with driving speed around 90 to 120 varied. It is excellent on the highways and returns good fuel efficiency. Hope this helps. Excellent mileage especially on highways considering that it is so damn powerful and a turbo petrol car

      Bro, turbo DCT is just too good in terms of precision & feel. Gearshifts are not felt at all. As far as the mileage I am getting, it is averaging between 9 to 11 kms in city in normal traffic conditions. If it is heavy bumper to bumper then you can expect 7 to 9 if it is for long hours b2b traffic. Highway mileage has been phenomenal for this power packed machine. Planing on 360degree camera ! Hyundai sells it for 30k what do you think ?

    • @guruprasadkm
      @guruprasadkm  Год назад

      There is a workaround for the led light bulb situation. Infact I too felt the light to be inadequate on dark non lit highways and hills. The workaround is that you have to completely change the LED light assembly to a lower variant Verna's which comes with a projector setup. Doing that would allow you to change the projector in a coupler to coupler method. The downside of doing this is you will lose cornering lights function.
      As far as the 360 degree camera is concerned that comes as a officially supported accessory by Hyundai, I have seen it first hand and it surely looks aftermarket. I too was skeptical of not having it at this price point, but the parking sensors on the front are really helping me and I haven't yet felt the real need of a 360 degree camera.
      Hope this helps!

      Is there no other way to upgrade the lights covering lights are so very useful it work perfect in tricky situations, I saw these 50w osram
      Led lights so good in my friends car, I was told by the service centre people tat the led is lights are 60w I wish there was a way to fix these bulbs rather than degrading the lights, to an older generation, the 360 degree felt cheap with a remote n everything my friends venu they had incorporated on the 8inch screen it was horrible on the initial days they fixed it n calibrated it well n looks pretty ok! I thought those would look better on verna coz the bigger screen size , I was driving venu up and down, bunber to bumber traffic , parking in tight spaces trust me the 360was so very useful, the service centre people told me as the car comes with integrated front sensor it works better as it has a pro kit on it but the calirty of the camera remains the same !
