Jayden Daniels took a lot of hits in that last game and he's already played in more games than he would have in college. That was a physical game that came down to the end and now they have to travel again... I'm not sure we see the best version of WAS this week in this stadium. Even if they do come to play, I don't think they can score with the Lions. I think Monty gets the first drive and then it'll be a ton of Gibbs. They like Montgomery to set the tone of physicality to test the defense imo. It's interesting that Dan Quinn goes for it on 4th down even more than the Dan Campbell. Punters can take the night off, they won't even be needed to hold for field goals, it's the all gas race to 50 points and 60% time of possession. Lions 42 - 17 Commanders. I hate to be negative, but, I am not expecting much out of David Montgomery. I can't imagine he will have the same effectiveness he had pre injury. Not without doing the surgery to repair him.
Washington is weak against the run. I see Sonic and Knuckles running wild on the Commanders and AG's D containing and frustrating their fantastic young QB in this game. GO LIONS!
Both fan bases derserve the good things happening with both teams.... The Lions should win this but the Lions do not have Daniels. If the game is close, and its towards the end of the 4th Q and Daniels has the ball, Commanders are winning the game. If the Lions do win, I hope the Lions win the SB. Go Commanders!

I am kind of with you. I don't expect much explosiveness but more of a play action threat on short yardage situations.
