You’re right they should be up there. It was the overall offense outside of those two that kept them off my list. Also thought about Chubb and Jerome Ford from CLE.

Reports are that Corum genuinely loves the team and is ahead of schedule in learning the playbook, which isn't surprising since he was drafted because he fits what the Rams already like to do in the running game. But first, let's see how this works when the snaps and carries really count. Barring injury, as good as the running game and the Rams offense overall was last year, this could be more than the other teams in the NFC can handle on any given week, and I'd say the Rams' defense net improved in the offseason (again, at least on paper) despite AD retiring. Keep up the good work!

@@johnnygazsports - Lions deserve the success they’re having now. They made the most of the Stafford-Goff trade - and a cross-country Rams-Lions rivalry, which is very real now from the QB’s to the fans, is a great thing to have developed and should be competitive for at least as long as the current head coaches and front offices are in place. Hope to see Detroit in the playoffs again - and in the meantime gonna be a great season for both teams.

There is no doubt in my mind the sophomore season is the hardest for rookie, who not just played great but excelled probably better than expectation for the Texans. Shroud is built from a different seed. Film will of course play a role in making things tougher but he was just too good for it to see him slide downward. I’m a Lions die hard but the Texans have built a team like the Lions. Not as the same positions but raw good drafts and a few good FA players. The Texans in my mind will be in a play for a SB run as soon as this next coming year, which is scary! If teams are both healthy I still like the Lions as they picked up a stud DT and the CB room is way better than it was last year! Only one think we digressed at is at WR, even if Jamo has a good year which sounds like in camp he looks good and should reach the 800+ tot yrds, 8-10 total TDs, drop rate cut in half.
