I just wanted to say how much I like listening to your comments, analysis etc. I like your calm way of delivering everything - without bias, not looking for a hot take for clicks. You're creating something great here. Thank you!
This means so much to me thank you! I appreciate you for watching and commenting and of course for the kind words. I am here because I love the Lions and I love sports. This team is crossing over the lines of sports and real life. Always...Go Lions!
Its absolutely unbelievable we have 13 on IR, a practice squad D with some "wearing name tags" and still keep winning. LaFluke is exposed as a podium crying coach and Love is mid at best. This would've been an embarrassing beat down for the fudgies had both teams been at full health. Great recap. Hopefully with 10 days of rest, we see some coming back for the Bills....if we somehow beat them....SB baby! ONE PRIDE
What a game, due to the injuries this is one that will be remembered for a long time. It was hard fought, big hits, high stacks, giving the Lions a big win.
@johnnygazsports Incredible, great show 👏, with great content. Buckle up JG 13 down with 4 ta go. We're going for a ride. Next week we host the Bills. We faced them in 2022 on Thanksgiving Day.
I love your choice of Tim Patrick for game MVP. Last year, my favorite “new guy”, someone who came out out of nowhere to impress me, was Ifeatu Melifonwu. The SURPRISE part of it is so gratifying! This year it is Tim Patrick. As the year has progressed, his name keeps coming up over and over and I kept saying with surprise, “Who IS this guy?!!?!” Favorite new Lion.
NFC Championship game, Buccaneers game, and this game. What do they have in common? All three games DC put the weight on the offense to carry the team. Halfway through each of these game he goes for it on 4th down in his own territory with the lead. In the Championship, it failed then Gibbs fumbled on the pursuing drive and they lost the game. In the Buccaneers game, they converted the 4th only to be stopped again and be forced to punt and they lost the game. Last night, they were stopped again but the pursuing drive they drove for a TD and won the game. I think MCDC knows his team. He was right that they needed more points in each of these games and that the path to victory in each of them had to go through the offense.
I was scared of course but agreed with not giving GB the ball back. The defense had given what it could but to kick the FG then allow Jordan Love a chance would have gone bad IMO. What a game!
@@johnnygazsports It's really no different than going for 2pt conversion for the win at the end of the game instead of taking it into OT. Coaches do that and it's even riskier than what Campbell did imo. I once saw Bill Belichick go for it on 4th down in his territory vs the Colts because he knew his defense couldn't stop Manning.
Goff’s interception was so bad that I think it requires an automatic 60 point deduction from his passer rating. And a cream pie right in the face! It was such a bad interception that I was sure it was going to shake his confidence. But it didn’t! He was magnificent for the rest of the game, just astonishingly good! 😀❤️👍
🦁Great stuff Johnny Gaz.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks buddy!
