I'm a Boomer who goes back to when we had the AFL and NFL (1965) . As a young kid, I watched televised games from both leagues with my Dad. I dug on the Raiders and Chargers (AFL) and the Colts and Rams (NFL). I liked the Lions unis though. Man, for years, Detroit had solid teams but came up short too often (Bobby Layne curse?). Y'all are having a solid 2024 season. Maybe y'all will finally shed the curse will make it to the big stage? Rooting for y'all!
Been watching since the 60's it's in my blood - I remember watching with my Dad when I was like 7 years old and yes best team I've ever seen! Keep up the great work bro, I like your style.
4 of the 7 TD drives didn't have a third down. That's pretty good. I think it's not only the best Lions team, I think it beats a Lions All Star Team (that doesn't include current players). This is an all time great team and Brad and Dan probably could have built a super team with all kinds of different players. They could have done this anywhere, but thank God they did it for us and this is just the beginning. Don't forget, next years team will be even better as far as player development. We'll have to wait and see on coordinators, but it's not impossible we get an upgrade there as well.
Do you think its a guarantee both coordinators leave? I still question if Ben really wants to be a HC. But i fully agree with you, what we are watching is special!
@@johnnygazsports 100% Think about it. Ben said he wanted to be an HC two years ago but he turned down the Panthers after going on an interview. Last year he didn't like the Commanders because it was run by "basketball guys". This year he got a big raise to stay as OC, but he's never wavered on wanting to be an HC. The iron isn't going to get any hotter than it will be after this season and he needs to strike.
A Great breakdown JG.... its extremely hard to go against them as their looking pretty good. 7 games ta go. We need to be playing are best football going into December and then stepping into the playoffs. GO LIONS.
So through week 11, and 10 games the Lions are 9 and 1. With 7 games ta go is their anyone who would like to make a regular season win loss perditions???
@johnnygazsports : I was going to say 15 and 2, but that's saying that they're only going to lose one more game. As much as I hope and want them to go 15 and 2, I just don't think that its feasible. I think that they'll lose to the Bills, and the Vickings to rest players.
19 - 1. Dan Campbell said that he lost them that Buccs game but that Tampa Bay should be proud to get the win because this team won't lose many. The Texans came off a mini bye and hadn't lost at home till that game plus no Taylor Decker which is huge. If Goff, Sewell, and Decker stay healthy throughout the season then they won't lose again.
The best Lions team in their history

An incredible game. Yes, the best team in my age as well. I'm 65 in that time this is for sure the Best Team. Fun to watch as well.

I appreciate you saying that! Thank you for getting on board. Go Lions!

Yeah your right. He will be as HOT as he could be this offseason so it would be the move to make. Maybe I am just wishful thinking LOL
Jacksonville played like an unmotivated team, going through the motions and expecting to get beat. The Lions were willing to accommodate that ethos.
Subscribed again with 2nd account lol 👍
You are the best! I appreciate that so much!!!
I have been a Lions fan since 1968 and this is the most complete team Detroit has ever had, or at least since 1968.

Super Bowl here we come!!!
I am so ready for it!!!!
Is this the best Lions team in your lifetime???
I really hope we win on Thanksgiving this year seems like we always lose on thanksgiving smh
I agree the loss last year was tough on Turkey Day. Hopefully much better showing this year!

I’ll go 14-3. I think they could drop the game to the Bills and then either the San Fran game or Minnesota based on resting players. 🤞
