You may have only gone based off what you seen or heard. But he is giving you an opportunity to seek him for yourself and get to know him. I don’t know you but I love and care about you. And everything you need is in God. That things that you don’t understand about yourself or you think is dumb, he knows and will give you what you ask. before I was broken, still searching for the truth. But then He came along, and changed my life and eternity. And I never want to go back to the broken person I was before. Because the truth and the light has set me free. I'm not going to lie, this brought tears to my eyes and I'm grimacing now just to keep them from coming. This past year, it has been difficult for me to see the world as anything other than an insidious place, full of cruelty, injustice, and exploitation.
