Wilt Chamberlain and Pete Maravich were arguably just as dominant as Kareem in the ncaa.
Not everything is about championships and Pistol Pete was absurdly productive, the most prolific and efficient scorer in ncaa history and he was a guard before the 3pt line existed! That's fucking incredible.
And Wilt? I mean just watch the games. He dominated so hard that he went semi-pro instead as well as spending a year with the globetrotters too, it was so comically dominant that the game turned into an unsportsmanlike farce instead of a real sport with how much teams were abusing the absence of a shot clock.
The ncaa will always deserve a giant heap of criticism and condemnation for how insanely unsportsmanlike it was for the rules committee to wait until 1980 to institute a shot clock, and possibly the most dominant and picturesque ncaa player ever was driven into illegally going semi-pro just to get away from that trashy rules committee. You can't sit there and watch a team pass the ball for three minutes or longer just to try and keep the other team from getting a possession, and tell me that's basketball. In fact it's an insult to the game and an insult to people who paid to watch it, you may as well forfeit the game right then and there and tuck your tail between your legs.
