I like the list but I think Bird should have been #1 and Magic #2, because they saved the league. Bird should be over Magic, because Magic had a lot of talent around him - Magic got them to work as one powerful machine. However, Bird was different. The Celtics finished 10th in the Eastern Conference the year before Bird joins the team, then Bird is a rookie and the only roster change, and the Celtics win the Eastern Conference. The Celtics won the Eastern Conference eight of the next nine years. Then, Bird gets a season ending injury in the fifth game, he is obviously the only roster change, and the Celtics finished 8th in the Eastern Conference. That is a testament to the greatness of Bird.
To put that in perspective, when MJ retired the first time, the Bulls still finished third in the Eastern Conference without MJ.
I can also see the argument for Russell being #1 because of his 11 titles; however, Russell was surrounded by a lot of Hall of Famers throughout his career, which is why I would have Russell #3.
Kobe did not have an instant impact on the league like Bird, Magic, and Russell which is why Kobe probably should not be in the top three. However, that does not take away from Kobe's greatness and loyalty to the Lakers.

#1 TIM DUNCAN period he took a small market team and city with little HELP and built the GREATEST franchise in sports history when he LEFT. He toopled dynasties and super teams for 19 years. He turned a soft 2nd exit into a legit contender every year. Took unknown talent and made hall of famers. Took more players to the promise land than Jordan. Parker ginobili green Leonard all have the highest WINNING pct. Simply because they played with TIM. Best player of the 2000s and best 1 team player ALL TIME nuff said.

The super team era imploded on itself when the Nets big three failed.Giannis proved that with the right pieces, he could win it all. And the new breed of superstars are now franchise players. Luka, Ja, Trae, Tatum, Booker. These players might just be one team players when it's all said and done
