TIPS FOR HAVING FUN WITH ARCHER For mob trash, you could do combo jump kick + shoot, it deals lot of damage For dodging, you could sprint + shoot, it will make your character slide and it also deals insane damage Using that two combo, you could engage enemies close combat and became Legolas, you will have the most fun out of this vocation
Key aspects of Archer are weak point damage, debilitating arrows, and knock down. Good party setup makes this class a breeze. An example early game is to have a tank agro enemies, a mage to give you fire boon and your archer needs tarring shot/incendiary shot. This gives the more powerful verson of burn. Use explosive shot to knock down monsters and just tempest shot the head of monsters. Orges, gryphons, Cyclops, and Chimeras melt.
Best archer in any game I have played. Most times especially in Japanese games Archers are supports, mages, or trash. Looking at you Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy, and Trails 😡. Also I think you are downplaying how good using skills outside of Steady Shot can be sometimes. Heck some skills like Manifold Shot are worse in Steady Shot. Then enemies like harpies and wolves are way easier to deal with outside of Steady Shot too. Really I only use Steady Shot if I am above the enemies, I am super safe and there are strong enemies that don't go down super quick, or I am fighting a big monster. Any time you are in a fight with tons of enemies, things are chaotic, or you are just exploring clearing trash mobs then using the auto aim mode is better. Manifold Shot is really good to spam as like an upgraded Loose Shot basic attack. Not that good for bosses and such but great for being mobile and quickly killing trash.
Completely agree! In some situations I’d prefer a guarantee hit outside of Steady Shot, with the trade off being doing slightly less damage. Seems fair to me.

When you are fighting a dragon or any large enemy and you knock it to the ground, how do you do the critical hit to the head with the archer? With other classes it is with the triangle on the console and you stick the sword in its head, but with the bow, what button do you press there?

Melee archer is so much fun without feeling that you're too overpowered. I pair this on a Warfarer with sword and board for flawless guard in case I'm in a tight space with too many enemies for easy escape.

There is no finisher. Just use your most damaging skill on the weak point. There is a move you can use on smaller enemies, which is just a ground stomp.
After I meet the elf for the first quest a chimera spawn and killed him. Revived him but now his quest is gone. Will it come back or have I lost his second quest permanently?
Im honest with you my archer was always so weak and I kept dying I don’t know what I was doing wrong but the thief is just overkill especially the bomb you can place on enemy’s you climb on
You might have hopped on mystic Archer too early, people are finding out that stat gains from leveling as vocations are still a thing. You might need some levels on sorcerer before that magic archer takes off
Love the archer a lot. It can do some insane damage but its based on if you can consistently land those vulnerable shots. I will say some unmoored world bosses can be a bit crazy though with how much mobility they have.
I did the quest for Glyndwr by giving him a human bow and then helped him save his sister, and now him and his father are both smitten with me. To the point they're both red cheeked talking to me and leaving gifts at my house in Vernwurth telling me how much they adore me, how did that happen?? I didn't give them gifts or anything
Climb on their backs and use deluging shot to freeze them with an ice boon upgrade assist from a mage in your party. Easy kills. Consume stamina consumables while on their backs to make light work of them
Overall this is a horrible guide because you gloss over things like when you're up close using Kik using armor you gloss over it because you say you don't need it. This is an awful video. I get it you're here for the algorithm you wanted to just pump it out. You provide zero information other than common sense. People come here for guidance you glossed over 90% of the game because you say oh well just don't get hit come on man
100%, trying to find an actual guide. I find archer doing very little damage against drakes, takes an hour compared to thief and spearhand that I've already played. Hoping to find some actual tips to help with archer dps but the only videos I'm coming across are these nonsense gloss overs. "Archers are OP!" proceed to read the skill descriptions.
I think Urika broke up with me. I haven’t seen her since I lost her during a quest . I kind of engorged her while I was looting when should have been leading her somewhere. Lol. You cant even keep the. Happy in fake life. 😂
It is not that hard. You do not need any build tips. This game is easy enough. Go trough a vocation. Do mastery quests and then change. Now you have a hybrid.
I'm trying to level up the archer vocation but it's just dogshit, thief kills stuff 5 times faster. The only thing that does decent damage is the crafted arrows, but then you have to micro manage that shit and it's annoying.
I’m starting as an Archer so I can get the augments: “more stamina” “increased dmg against weak points” and “faster climbing and scaling enemies” Then I’m switching to Thief and Ima be jumping every boss I see. Imagine putting the “explosive charge” on a weak point, using the “Gut and Run” skill on it and then blasting it to hell. It’ll be gross

You can easily have a warrior, a mage and a sorcerer in the composition, while playing as an archer, the enemy will always lose balance.
four words to make your archer godly ; spiral arrows, trust me
That was two words
It was better in the first game when you could apply special arrows to all your shots.
