Something I would like to mention: The Central Authority is currently fighting 2 wars at once: One against Etrea, as you know, and one against The Hundred Legions in the West. It's likely that the Ministry would have been completely stomped out and that the Authority would have brought Etrea back to peace by now if they weren't also caught up fighting the Legion, a much more obviously powerful threat. While we as players know the truth that Etrea is a bigger, many Authority soldiers do not. If the Authority were to throw everything they had at Etrea, they'd win, but they'd also risk and possibly lose everything tk the Legion in the process, who would let the world sink due to their incompetence.
The central authority isn't fighting the hundred legions (yet) the only link between the two rn is a treaty that was broken by the authority (mentioned by the eleventh legion in viper's jaw)
The war against etrea and the authority is completely orchestrated by the ministry. The war will cause the drowning of etris but the authority dont know that yet
The Central Authorithy is vastly more powerful than the Kingdom of Etrea. Only a small fraction of their forces are operating in the eastern luminant. if it weren't for the the eastern Lightkeeper stopping them from sending more troops to the eastern luminant they would've already won the war with Etrea. And even that small fraction of the Authorithy could take over Etrea. They are obviously the most powerful faction in the surface and one of the two factions that rule an entire Luminant along with the Legions
Isn't a legion like 4 or 5k soldiers? They're named the hundred legions because supposedly they have 100 legions, so doing the math, that would round up to almost half a million troops. So in my opinion, they're not that weak.
