Staging is key for this song. Did great given the conditions provided. Like it but don't love it. It will not win with that staging. However this is Ukraine 🇺🇦, I trust them to get staging perfect as I have stated already. It is too early for me make a prediction.

I read that some people don’t love the rap, but it’s perfect in this! Alyona Alyona is killing it with the flow, inflections and tone. It’s crazy to think that she used to be a kindergarten teacher and would write raps as a hobby. She was born to be a star( and is also seemingly a really sweet person to boot), and that entire part breaks the monotony of the chorus. It brings the energy level up just slightly, before going back to the groove, and without it, the song would be just too tedious for 3 mins straight.
Literally started to shake/cry of happiness when they won! Also, the fact that Jerry can sing that well without a working earpiece is incredible! Some people say the rap part makes the song bad, but for me it wouldn't be the same without it.
Stunning, my favourite so far, Ukraine delivering yet again- Jerry and Alyona are such a brilliant duo ❤ I agree I hope they change the black outfits for Eurovision, and I'd actually like to hear the backing vocalists more in the "hey ya hey ya hey ya" bit, that's one of the most powerful parts of the song!

Jerry Heil does have a song about vegan food lol, but that was her original thing, lots of humor in her songs, they appeal to me right away. She never tried to be the sexy baby, but bring something substantial to the audience to make them laugh. No she is making us cry, because her newer songs have so much depth, she makes us feel every one of them and I really appreciate her ongoing effort. She and Alyona Alyona have several collaborations together already and they are just tearing me up with the beauty, creativity, and of course the message. This is what they do well together. TERESA AND MARIA no exception. It is certainly a woman empowering song both in general and I feel like 2nd meaning is during the war when men are away, everything falls on the women and they are capable to face anything as their ancestors did before them. This song is an absolute masterpiece, so haunting and addictive 💕! Jerry's voice is out of this world, and both girls have unbelievable stage presence. As up right now, Ukraine is THE huge favorite to win Eurovision according to the odds. And it´s all deserved. Yes, we only know ten songs so far. But this is so emotional, powwerful and the melody is strong. Their harmony on stage is wonderful, the staging is promising too! Yes, it´s really dark. But we´re talking Ukraine. We know that they can evolve stagings and make it look absolutely beautiful and breathtaking on the Eurovision stage. This could win!

Within half a second I am drawn to this. It is so much qualiity. It is amaaaaazing. Ukraine always set the staging and therefore we don´t need to even think about that. They are Eurovision experts. Atleast top 3 feels resonable. Absolutely enough quality to win.

I'm still not grabbed by it in the same way as others are, doesn't give me the feels, but it's a good song, and it's clearly going to be challenging for top positions. I don't like the staging here, too dark until the silhouettes at the end, and I'm not enjoying the religious imagery. But we all know that Ukraine will be levelling up staging and stage outfits by the time Malmo comes around.

Thank you for giving the credit to the song , despite on its still controversial interpretations. Here , imo，its a vibe of our country at this exact period of time , yes, dark but hopeful , this is existential experience, which can be applied to the personal mood. In the end , music is supposed to call on the emotions and put people in some status of mind hence in the end it will depend on the whole mood of Eurovision this year, and what people feel like hearing after all
Personally, as a Ukrainian, I was so happy to see all these new and fresh performers this year, with some, like jerry making a comeback. So many deserving contestants with a amazing folk influences (that i always love to hear). I voted for Yagoda on our Diya app but am happy to see Jerry and Alyona win too!
I'm happy for the girls, but I probably have some question/notes to the people who do react videos like William and Deban. At least several times I heard two things that sounds not so complimentary towards ukrainian artists. Not only from you, there is tendency in ESC community in general. "This sounds like Go-A" is the first thing, by doing this you narrow down the creativity of all the further contestants with ethnosound to be just Go-A copycats. I've been listening Go-A long before they gain their popularity, they indeed has the unique sound, and any other ukrainian artist who use ethnic vibe doesn't necessarily do it the same way that they do. There is a whole genre of folkatronica, which stands for mix of ethno and electronic music. "Go-A alike" even was attached to Kalush, when it's completely different style of music, rap with traditional instruments. First person from Ukraine with ethno vibes was Ruslana, but nobody says artist A sounds like her. Second point about that with Tvorchi didn't sound like Ukraine. I'm not sure why this happens because there were no such questions to Melovin, Alyosha, Zlata Ognevich who performed before Go-A entry. As I said, first ethnic sound was from Ruslana 20 years ago and second enthic vibe from Go-A years after that. Ukraine has a huge variety of high quality musicians from all the genres, including world recognized metal bands. With comments like "it doesn't sound like Ukraine" again you put the whole country inside the box of your expectations, especially when it doesn't aligned with what people of the country wants. Honestly I don't remember any comments towards Czech doesn't sound like Czech or Bulgaria or Poland or San Marino, Malta, Greece. Does Alessandra sounded like Norway? No, but somehow people check the song and doesn't worry about other things. Same I want people to start thinking about ukrainian artists, hear the quality of the song and performer, do not attach labels. Nobody wants to hear 'this sounds like x" because there is one popular artist who works in the genre.

To be able distinguish genres requires to listen different kind of music, lots of music and be attentive, otherwise it will be always "artist X sounds like artist A"

I don't like the staging here, too dark until the silhouettes at the end, and I'm not enjoying the religious imagery. But we all know that Ukraine will be levelling up staging and stage outfits by the time Malmo comes around.

Thank you for giving the credit to the song , despite on its still controversial interpretations. Here , imo，its a vibe of our country at this exact period of time , yes, dark but hopeful , this is existential experience, which can be applied to the personal mood. In the end , music is supposed to call on the emotions and put people in some status of mind hence in the end it will depend on the whole mood of Eurovision this year, and what people feel like hearing after all

I'm happy for the girls, but I probably have some question/notes to the people who do react videos like William and Deban. At least several times I heard two things that sounds not so complimentary towards ukrainian artists. Not only from you, there is tendency in ESC community in general.
"This sounds like Go-A" is the first thing, by doing this you narrow down the creativity of all the further contestants with ethnosound to be just Go-A copycats. I've been listening Go-A long before they gain their popularity, they indeed has the unique sound, and any other ukrainian artist who use ethnic vibe doesn't necessarily do it the same way that they do. There is a whole genre of folkatronica, which stands for mix of ethno and electronic music. "Go-A alike" even was attached to Kalush, when it's completely different style of music, rap with traditional instruments. First person from Ukraine with ethno vibes was Ruslana, but nobody says artist A sounds like her.
Second point about that with Tvorchi didn't sound like Ukraine. I'm not sure why this happens because there were no such questions to Melovin, Alyosha, Zlata Ognevich who performed before Go-A entry. As I said, first ethnic sound was from Ruslana 20 years ago and second enthic vibe from Go-A years after that. Ukraine has a huge variety of high quality musicians from all the genres, including world recognized metal bands. With comments like "it doesn't sound like Ukraine" again you put the whole country inside the box of your expectations, especially when it doesn't aligned with what people of the country wants.
Honestly I don't remember any comments towards Czech doesn't sound like Czech or Bulgaria or Poland or San Marino, Malta, Greece. Does Alessandra sounded like Norway? No, but somehow people check the song and doesn't worry about other things. Same I want people to start thinking about ukrainian artists, hear the quality of the song and performer, do not attach labels. Nobody wants to hear 'this sounds like x" because there is one popular artist who works in the genre.
It's a pity that all the songs don't sound like Go-A this is a known recipe for success😂

I can distinguish genres of metal, electronic music, folk, when musicians are using Armenian duduk, arabian motives or Chinese oriental instruments, yet of course there are genres I won't probably guess, since I don't listen to it. To be able distinguish genres requires to listen different kind of music, lots of music and be attentive, otherwise it will be always "artist X sounds like artist A"

Adore the song - it could win but I’m worried about the religious title. Perhaps given William’s opening statement the song could be more powerfully retitled as ‘Diva The Change’.
I definitely enjoyed the song, but can't help noticing how formulaic it feels after the last few years of Ukranian entries. Ethic singing + rap verse = win Eurovision?
Also the melody for the chorus from "Z namy Mama Tereza..." is so familiar. Maybe someone can point out what from.
