I once had it all, my wife, my kids our own happy home. 4 years ago, after me and my wife split up it sent me into a depression. I lost all self confidence in myself. I started taking muay Thai classes shortly after the separation and what started out as a weekend session turned into a passion. I've been practicing muay Thai for almost 3 years and when life pushes you down and smacks you upside the head you wrap up those hands and put on those damn gloves and you push back!!! Never let anything or anyone push you down you must rise up and keep fighting on!! Nothing but love for my warriors at the Chicago Thai Boxing Academy and the most respect for my coaches for the self-confidence I thought I never had. Khom khum kop nak muay!! OWWEEEE!!!

Those who dislike this doesn't have feelings. I'm not from Thailand but I do muay thai because it has essence and spirit. The fighting music gives my strength and cleans my soul and sharping my senses. I just love to do it with passion and respect, never give up, hit hard!

Basically for a lot of people it's the only thing they can make a living off since they are having a hard to get a job, most are fighting because they love the arts itself and by the way every martial art was design for real combat for example karate was made to disarm armed samurai/soldiers, muay thai aswell was used to fight weapon users for a long time in history. Right now since we live in a peaceful era martial arts is just a sport. the flashback is to see what he has gone through in life

Muay Thai and Thai boxing are the exact same thing (muay Thai). The correct name is muay Thai, but in the West people call it Thai boxing for some reason.
Kick boxing is a more general term that covers several different martial arts utilizing kicks as well as boxing, hence the name.
