Never pieced it together all these years, just how much Änglagård draw from the sound of Cathedral, both being MASSIVE favourites of mine for YEARS, and only now it’s clicked in my ear. The bass lines, the heavy choir mellotrons, straight up Cathedral 🖤😻🥰😻🖤

This song was gifted to me as an introduction to Änglagård. I still hold this song dear to me. ❤

Yesterday, I've discoverd today's prog music from Sweden, Norway and other countries of that area. It. Is. Awesome.

This song "Vandringar I Vilsenhe" reminds me of Jethro Tull meets Van Der Graaf Generator with a touch of King Crimson with the high harmonies. Never heard this song before, but I do love Progressive Rock. Thanks!!!

I love this band but they have ZEROOOO song structuring ability to my ears lol

Eh, I'd say progressive rock tends to have very abstract or narrative structuring compared to more mainstream-accessible forms of rock.

Well, the track is called 'Vandringar i Vilsenhet'. The next track ("From Clarity to Clarity") is better structured.

I disagree. I understand classical music and they pretty much nailed it. If your looking for song structures like Styx this isn’t the right band for you
