As an Aussie, I love guy and what he stands for. His ability for writing songs is just incredible. He has so much to offer through his lyrics and changes with the times. I've been watching him for over 20 years, before he was famous. This song has meant the world to me, and if I could thank him personally, I would. Guy is definitely a perfect artist. My Son is going through mental health issues and it worried me, he will take his own life. I sent him the lyrics to this song in hope he feels my love and support. Thank you for your comment.x

This song is very recent and was written after someone he knew opened up to him about their struggle with mental illness . Guy has been around for a while now and is known for being a good singer he has been nominated many times for Arias which are music awards in Australia.
What an AMAZING singer he is! I do remember him when he came on American Idol YEARS ago!! He's changed a LOT since then, & think he won American Idol then, not sure. The main thing is he is so exceptional with his singing range, really fabulous. 💝💝

Thanks Brett for highlighting Guy Sebastian and thanks lads for this second song from him. But the question arises, why he is not known in UK or USA or Europe for example. His only majour hit in USA is "Battle Scars" with Lupe Fiasco, and it just reached number 71 on Billboard Hot 100. No other hits. So I pose the question, why this complete ignorance of his talents even when he is singing in English. You see the bias right? Out of all his songs, only one minor hit in America. So thank God we have sites like yours and your openness in listening to other artists. He became known in Europe when he represented his country Australia in Eurovision Song Contest.
Guy did take his music to other countries. From his own mouth he explained.. the powers that be said he wouldn’t make it because he didn’t have enough sex or naked girls in his videos. So he came home. But he has proved them wrong for his music touches the soul.

Of course Guy Sebastian is known for his sad songs. Take "Choir"for example dedicated to his band member and collaborator Luke Liang who committed suicide after suffering from mental health. "Like a Drum" is about child dreams. His last number 1 in Australia was "Battle Scare" in 2012. His other number 1s are "Angles Brought Me Here" in 2003, "All I Need Is You" and "Out With My baby" both in 2004, "Like It Like That" in 2009, "Whose That Girl"with Eve in 2010. Of course he has many songs in the Top 10 as well
