I guess were I do agree with you in a sense is that young artists should not force themselves to emulate her style, it will damage a perfectly healthy instrument ! Low notes are nice, but they are not as reaction invoking as high notes. Low notes are calming and soothing, they make u listen but not turn, the high notes are what triggered a reaction in us that makes us perk up. It’s psychological, unfortunately. It also helps that usually ppl start low and then go high to showcase their range and control, not the other way around. Usually if u can go high, u can go low. Not the case the other way around
@@TransparentEclipse excuse me what? "Usually if u can go high, u can go low. Not the case the other way around". I am in disbelief of that. I hear guys like Tim Foust or Geoff Castellucci from Home Free or VoicePlay respectively (a cappella groups btw for the uninformed) and those guys can reach reach low notes that would register on the richter then sing a high note that you wouldn't think they could reach based on how low they just were. I've NEVER heard a singer who can sing impressive high notes AND also go down low and sound good as well. If I'm ignorant please educate me. Edit: I guess Dimash would be an example but he's an alien. His lowest notes obviously aren't as low as the names I just mentioned but he certainly has the range. But again, he's an alien. It's not the norm.

You know Jennifer Hudson likes the performance when she gets angry or looks like she smells fart 😂
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA It's her signature "stank face". It's the face musicians, singers and people in general make when something really hits you on a deeper than "just impressive" level 🙂
you know she likes the you when she throw her sandal😆
The stank face
The "YOU BETTA SING *throws shoe* " is iconic beyond compare 😂
Literally laughed out loud
when you said “god i love music”.. same. i desperately want to learn more about making my own music and learning instruments, because all my life i’ve gotten the same goosebumps and just FEELING music in my soul so strongly. but i never had the proper words to describe it like ‘the falsetto is what made me feel that’ ‘the guitar is that instrument im hearing in the mix that’s hitting so hard’
You should do one reacting to “unusual” voices.
Agreed

"I love music" Such a genuine reaction. Love it.
I don’t know how this guy’s channel ended up in my feed, but I’m loving it! He’s so smart, adorable, and talented. I’m weirdly crazy attracted to this stranger right now...
Same
Joel crying because he loves music so much is 10/10 wholesome content :’)
Roomie, the last one was Janis Joplin's song, this girl nailed it. Check out the original, if you haven't heard it yet (kinda hard to believe). The two guys in one chair always made me laugh. Cool guys from Afromental :)
Which song?
That's what I was going to say!
He knows Janis Joplin. I think he meant he have not heard this performance.
Guys, he said that he have not heard before that thing that she did with her voice at the end. It was not about the song

Gosh...melting my heart how much you love music. I love that you show how much you feel and how moved you are. I so relate.

@@istan9682 it would still be surprising
I've never seen so many facial expressions in such a short period of time as when Joel reacted to that second singer lul
I wanted to feel that emotion that Joel felt hearing it for the first time, but the drama happening during the button press being blocked had me laughing hard the whole time. I want my first time watching this back!
Big same!!!!
Im in a rabbithole of RoomieOfficial.. Why do my assignment when I can use 4 hours more here??
I love how Joel actually says “haghhahaha” when he laughs 😂😂

When will we celebrate low notes as well like this?
Low notes are nice, but they are not as reaction invoking as high notes. Low notes are calming and soothing, they make u listen but not turn, the high notes are what triggered a reaction in us that makes us perk up. It’s psychological, unfortunately. It also helps that usually ppl start low and then go high to showcase their range and control, not the other way around. Usually if u can go high, u can go low. Not the case the other way around
If only low notes where as good as low notes we would.
Actually, we did already✌️😅
@@TransparentEclipse This is about the stupidest shit Ive ever heard.

the faces joel makes reacting to these singers lmao, the next SIOR is gonna be full of them 😂😂
I don’t know how perfectly executed high notes can make people emotional. I am literally crying.
Seeing joel being happy and impressed about something that is already impressive makes me even more happy and impressed
3:05 Her singing is as impressive as her Robert Di Nero impersonation
