The Flinders has a special place in our hearts too. Your buzzing excitement for this place has us now trying to see when we can get there. Those campsites in the valley 🥰.
We explore South Eastern and Central Oregon back country known as the Oregon Outback. Many of the trails are like driving in dry creek beds during the dryer weather and wet creek beds when wet. If it is not a rocky creek bed trail it is clay and so slick when wet. Often we will got several days without seeing others. In the more remote areas we find pronghorn and wild horses, and in season cattle. Why camp in a RV Resort when you can camp in the back country.
Hey guys, haven't been to the Flinders Ranges but seeing it through your eyes makes it so inviting and definitely one place to put on the list, thanks again! Phil
Hi guys. Great episode and good to see you back on the road again. Simon mentioned that only half the watchers are subscribed to your channel. A lot of people don't know how to subscribe. Maybe a video to show them how to do it and that it's free. Happy New Year Simon, Liz and kids, have a great 2024.
Cracker Episode, so awesome to see you guys back out in your element. Flinders has a special place in our hearts, loved living it again through your eyes.
I found Bendleby Ranges campground on wikicamps, but I can't find hidden valley...? There's a few hidden valleys in wikicamps, but not in that area that I can see???
Nice video guys, it actually seemed a pretty relaxed vibe video, probably because you were liking the area so much, that chilled relaxed vibe came through. Flinders is a beautiful area, hoping to head back to that area in a few months time, needless to say that this camp area has been added to the list. Some great footage, what drone are you using?
Hey Liz and Simon, what drone are you using? We are debating whether to get one or not for our WA trip this year. Any suggestions for a learner drone operator?
Happy new year! It was our brand new DJI Air 3. We flew our old Air 2 in the rain as well. We've had no issues, until you get a rain drop on the lens 😆
@@TheLifestylePioneers wow so you do it regually? So they must have some kind off water resistance then, interesting 🤔. We run the Air 2S and love it but I so want a Air 3 Pro Cine, can't justify it but want it 🤣 Maybe if I try the Air 2S in the rain I might need to update ....man logic 🤣
What a great episode, its now on our bucket list.
Great to hear! Thanks

So jealous! I was stuck at home only 3 hrs away during those storms & the following regrowth.
Ah, bummer. Yeah, it was a pretty incredible sight!

They're all part of Bendleby Ranges station, when you book on their website you can choose a campground/site
What is that BBQ? Looks awesome and well built!
Yes it is! It's a Hibachi grill by Firemate. Made in WA. 👍

Thanks, mate. Much appreciated. It's such a special place. We recently upgraded our drone to the DJI Air 3 👍

Ours is a DJI Air3, but the DJI mini is a great option as well.
Merry Christmas and happy new year team. Can I ask what drone you used in the rain? Did you have any issues? I am terrified to get mine wet 😂

😂 Hope Leisa doesn’t see this post 😂
What’s the name of where you were camping. Thanks
Hidden Valley 👌
That looked sketchy! Lucky you have the rear track fixed.
