    My wife's great uncle, Harvey T. Perdieu, PFC, was part of C Company of the 325th. He died on June 9 after the D-Day landing. He was a school teacher.

      That was a big day for the Company, as they attacked towards the West end of the La Fiere causeway. I'm sure you're already aware that Charles DeGlopper, also of C.Company, was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for his actions that day.     My dad was based here. He married a Leicester girl and settled hete

      @@agrberry his name was Albert Nelson. He settled in Leicester after the war. My mum was a GI bride. He died 1998.
