Thank you for these videos! Quick question: I got confused when you said N had 7 valence electrons... Did you mean it had 7 electrons in total and it gained 3, therefore it would match up with NE?? (1:16:25)
Yes, you are so correct. I misspoke at that part. Nitrogen has 7 total electrons. It has 5 valence elections, shares three with hydrogens 5+3 = 8 total valence 7+3 = 10 total electrons (like neon) Thank you for pointing it out!!!!
I'm having trouble with #42 and I didn't really understand the explanation. However, I got the correct answer but I don't know to to justify it. I understood that the longest carbon chain was 5, so it would be pent. I don't understand the rest of it, like where the "di" and "meth" come from. Can you or someone else please explain? The regents are tomorrow!
Yes. Meth comes from table P. Why? Because the branch coming off the pent chain is one carbon. But there are two of those. So each would be methyl. Meth because it’s one Carbon. Yl because it’s a branch. So truly it would be methyl methyl but that’s weird to say. So two methyl’s is dimethyl. Does that help at all?
@@ImagineJenkins yes, thank you so much for replying!! You’re one of the only online tutors that are helpful and reply fast, and your videos also taught me more than my actual teacher did, I appreciate that :)
Sorry for the bother again, I have a question on question 59. Can I say the forward reaction is endo because the heat is positive or I have to say because it’s on the left?

@@ImagineJenkins Thank you for clarifying and all these review videos! You make chemistry fun to learn
@UnderInds thanks for pointing it out for me!!
And you are welcome. I hope they have been helpful for you. Good luck today!
THANK you! Good luck to everyone taking the regents in 12 days!
You are so welcome!!! The time crunch is real. You can do this!
Thank you so much! This was so helpful !
You're so welcome! I am glad you find it helpful.
thank you this was really helpful!
You are welcome. I’m so glad you found it helpful. Good luck.
thank you, im binging all ur vids
You are so welcome!! It’s one of the best things to do at this point. You will start to see the patterns in questions. You got this!
@@ImagineJenkins i passed cuz of ur videos ty girl

Since it asked for evidence form the equation, you have to say that energy or kJ or heat is on the left side or the reactant side.
Thank you this was a last review for me my regents is tomorrow wish me luck 🙏
You are so welcome!!! Good luck.
This is great content. Did you do a video about half reactions, electrolytic and voltaic cells?
Yes I have. Let me find the videos and I’ll link them.

Number 28 part how does transmutation work and what unit is it from?
Transmutation is a concept in nuclear chemistry. It’s a reaction where one element is changed into another element.
