Integumentary System -- Aging, Diseases and Disorders
This video goes through what happens in disease and the failure to maintain homeostasis then focuses on the integumentary system. The discussion begins with aging - thinning epidermis, decreased melanocyte activity, thinning hair, less thermoregulation, wrinkles and sagging skin. Skin cancer, the most common type of cancer is discussed next. This includes the three main types of cancer - basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. The ABCDE's for skin cancer awareness are discussed as well as issues in disproportionality related to non-white patients with skin cancer. Acne is discussed next - whiteheads, blackheads and pustules. Finally, a variety of integumentary system d...

Calculating Slope & Graphing a Scatterplot Using Google Sheets - Plus Trendlines (Best Fit Lines)
Просмотров 242 месяца назад
This video goes through step by step how to create a scatterplot in Google Sheets for two sets of data (in this case - mass and volume for distilled and salt water). You are also walked through how to customize the scatterplot and add trend lines. Finally, you are shown how to calculate the slope using the slope formula. For this data, slope will give density. #apbiology #apbio #density #datavi...

If you create a doc FOR the kids, does anyone know how to see which ones are resubmitted? It doesn't show that screen w/ the paper icon, so now I'm manually leafing through 20+ assignments to see which one MIGHT be resubmitted. It's like they don't even begin to beta test their platform with teachers.

lol!! 😂 In my case it’s not about not noticing - it’s not caring. I have been known to keep a protective sticker on for a long time. In this case, I did just get some new thermometers and hadn’t cared enough to peel stickers off. Neither had any students who used them so far. If you were in my class - you would have full permission to peel them off if it bothered you.
