If anybody cares, here's my list of top linear switches :3 Gatereon Oil Kings, Boba Linear Thocks, Gatereon Milky Yellows and Gatereon Ink Black V2s. These 4 switches are all in the same "bracket" I would say. The Gat milky yellows are a fantastic option for a budget switches. The Boba LT and Oil Kings are practically the same price but what all these switches have in common is a deep, thocky, more whole sound to them. Basically, if you're looking to add some lock, any of these switches will do that for you, moreso the Boba LT, Oil Kings and Ink Blacks. Enjoy!
I definitely was also extremely surprised and loved the Feker Matchas. A budget long pole that was very smooth and held up against much more expensive switches. I prefer a lighter spring but unfortunately the Cream Matchas are completely sold out. Ended up spring swapping and it was so good. I also see Feker put out the Emerald Yellow linear... Box stem with a lighter spring but still long pole. Can you check that one out?
Hi great video! Do you prefer KTT kang whites or roses? I wish to buy strawberries, but I can only preorder them and im not sure when they will arrive ;((
been using turquoise tealios for 4 years. Haven't paid attention to new switches since. Got agua kings, oil kings and ktt strawberries to try. filmed and lubed each. keeping my tealios lol, feel like switches are a gimmick these days with the 100s of options all sounding and feeling near identical. the ktt strabs stood out the most to me, agua kings were boring, oil kings were near identical to my tealios. if i wanted clacky i would have kept the strawbs.
Very nice and informative video. I have tried Akko Cream Yellow on my Spark67 keyboard and boiiii, they sound good as heck, definitely live up the "Cream" in its name.
can you leave links to those switches and switch spring!!!! having a hard time to find out good spring shopping site! And if you can specify tactile force (g) for those switch, it would be great!
Love your content! Can you recommend a thocky plate to go with a deep, thocky build? The information I gathered online seems to suggest that PC is the most thocky one, just want to hear your opinion.
thx you dude. realy thanks. in my country say - Спасибо, братишка, твои предпочтения в переключателях мне шикарно подошли. каждый переключатель из списка прям в яблочко
I hope other switch manufacturers take influence fron Zeal PC's clicky switch. Using a leaf to generate tactility makes more a much more tactile switch, with the only real issue being the weighting. Orange Alps switches are a pretty good benchmark of what can be done.
Wow. I have every budget switch you mentioned except Feker Matcha. Now I gotta get it. 😆 I'm really interested in the Gazzew/Boba u4t... but so many versions. I gotta do more research to narrow down which one. I'm only a couple months into the rabbit hole and I think I've already hit the limits of my hobby budget. 😆 I just ordered the Feker Holy Panda and Ajazz Kiwi. 🤔 I should start a keeb channel in hopes that companies send me more toys to play with. 😁
Thanks for this! was looking into changing my first red outemus into smth else and were considering akko switches and couldn't decide, are the vintage whites any good or should i just buy the cream yellows?
They have really different sound signatures. The vintage whites are really high pitched, while the cream yellows are deep and thocky. The spring weight on the vint whites are also super light, even lighter than your outemu reds. The yellow creams (unsure) should have a heavier spring, so choose based on that.
they are really good! do check out my maggio sound tests in my channel. I use my CJ's stock and they are insanely good. On the clacky side of the spectrum
Some criticism, don’t talk over the sound tests defeats the purpose of the whole video. Nice description but your main selling point is the sound test and you messed it up
@@ThockyDocKey Hii, what do you mean by a little extreme? Because I plan on getting the zakus, I see that you are willing to pick cream yellow over zaku.
@ThockyDocKey thank you for your reply, I am using qk65, and I plan to get some switch to replace my leobog kayking which is slightly too lightweight and too scratchy. I see that the spec of cream yellow is just nice. However i maybe because of the hype, I am so tempted to get the zakus. I'm pretty sure there is a reason behind the zakus being so famous.
It’s not meant to be a typing test. Just a summary of all my fav switches All of which i have reviewed on the channel. Feel free to search em if you want the full typing sound test
This video is not a review of the switches man. I have the review in my Channel. This review is my summary on my favorite switches. Feel free to search my channel for the specific switch you are looking for
it's not even a soundtest bro. That's just a background "sound" ofr the video. I have full reviews of all the switches mentioned here, feel free to check if out if you want
Gat Milky Yellow Pros never disappoint! 💗
If you want a really deep sounding linear boba LTs have a similar sound to the boba U4ts
Boba lts
Everyone forgot about the Akko cream yellows v3 pro
They are incredibly disappointing. Terrible stem wobble, scratchy housing, mid sound. Very overhyped switch.
Highly agree on KTT Strawberry. My personal best switch of 2022 as well! Great video!
You can preorder the strawberry v2 now!
The ktt strawberries sounded soooooo good 💕

Just ordered some cream blues to try in a build!

Where did you get your Gargantua mouse pad?
Hello bro, do you have recommendations for thocky budget switches? Especially Tactile switches, thank you
Cream blue
can you leave links to those switches and switch spring!!!! having a hard time to find out good spring shopping site! And if you can specify tactile force (g) for those switch, it would be great!
Really nice video. I am making same setup as your akko top 75 acr :) with cream yallows!
Thank you so muchhhhh!!! ❤ this is going to help me so much 🎉
Nice vid mate
What keyboard were you doing the Boba U4T typing test on?
Love your content! Can you recommend a thocky plate to go with a deep, thocky build? The information I gathered online seems to suggest that PC is the most thocky one, just want to hear your opinion.
PC indeed one of the deeper sounding plates.
Overall though will depend on the board, configuration, switches and keycap selection
KTT Strawberry ftw 🍓
Another banger, love the content ❤❤
When your taking about the fekar macha which one do u mean the fekar matches or the Creamy feker machas
Not the creamy
Where do you get the spring replacement for the Durock Piano Linears ?! :)
Very informative content as usual Doc ❤️
Great review doc!

I have the ktt strawberry switches and I just have the space at lubed. They’re really good
I have got the Gat CJs for my upcoming QK75. Please tell me they are good. They feel pretty smooth!
they are really good! do check out my maggio sound tests in my channel. I use my CJ's stock and they are insanely good. On the clacky side of the spectrum
Loved the video! Instantly sold me on the akko cream blues.
I cant decide what to choose
Gateron g pro yellows /2.0
Jwick black v2
Or gateron milky yellows
Please help me out
Also maybe ktt strawberryies or whites im new and building keyboard first time so i cant decide wich switch i should go
g pro yellows if ur not looking to lube. otherwise either of the other two options are good
Whats that clock on your desk?
Which linear switches would you recommend for a creamy(mb a little thocky) sound and smooth action?
Milky yellow pro or feker matcha
What do you think, which switches are best suited for an aluminum monsgeek m1: Akko V3 Cream Yellow or Gaterom Milky Yellow Pro?
Cream yellow
The azure dragons are an amazing pick I would suggest them
i think if you just stop talking when testing sound it will be bette
What springs did you swap the Feker Matcha switches with??
Sprit slow extreme ii 63-65g
ok strange question, but where are you from? I really love the accent.
philippines :)
@@ThockyDocKey I knew right away that you were a fellow pinoy. 🙏
Feker matcha is too heavy for me do you suggest KTT strawberry instead for thocky sound ?
feker matcha more thockey . you can always spring swap
nonetheless KTT strawberries are good as well
hello doc have u tried ktt kang white v3?
if yes doc how was it compared to akko v3 cream yellow?
I have nit
@@ThockyDocKey i recommend you try it sir budget switch also. 95pesos for 10pcs
I like anubis over holy panda, still have not tried boba, some sound comparisons seem like the anubis is better.
What switch with deep sound linear?
Doc, should i choose feker matcha v2 rather than v1
My current set up is gmk67 and akko ASA, i need your suggestion for the switch that is deep sound, linear/ tactile will do.
@@Groundzero_0 unfortunately i am not really familiar with the difference of the v1 and v2
What’s the keyboard name with a yellow spacebar ?
epomaker ek68
what cable is this????
Some criticism, don’t talk over the sound tests defeats the purpose of the whole video.
Nice description but your main selling point is the sound test and you messed it up
Team Cream blue mag ingay! First! 🤙♥️👑
anung switch yung similar sa boba u4t on budget side
I've had some issues with the pom durocks ticking(alr swapped springs)
now do it again with just the different sounds, no talking
Nadethroned na ang zakus doc?hehe
Maganda parin zakus pero medjo extreme sounding sya. Would not recommend it for all
Pero honestly id pick cream yellows over zakus lalo na pag na factor in na ung price
@@ThockyDocKey Hii, what do you mean by a little extreme? Because I plan on getting the zakus, I see that you are willing to pick cream yellow over zaku.
@@BecauseLoveSoLove i love both. Depends on build.
On some build the zakus might be too noisy

Why is he talking so loud when I’m trying to hear the switches
Just a summary of my favorites. If you want to hear the sounds it’s in my other videos on the channel
Kang whites looking for love...
Haha di nakakasurprise doc na kasama cream yellow .. the hype is real
Will have to try kang whites this year
KTT Strawberry all the way
your voice volume is way too loud over the sound of the typing tests
It’s not meant to be a typing test. Just a summary of all my fav switches

@@ThockyDocKey Understood, but the sound difference is still too great, I would lower your input volume a tad.
@@Jay16872 thanks for the suggestion :) will try it out next time

hey how ab when ur doing a sound test maybe not talking would be a solid idea so I can fuckin hear the switches
