The Florida Botanical Gardens are a hidden gem in the Tampa Bay area, featuring over 30 acres of lush landscapes, colorful flowers, and diverse wildlife. The gardens are open year-round and free to the public, making them a perfect destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
We're going to start our walk at the main entrance, where you can see the beautiful fountain and the welcome center. From there, we'll follow the paved trail that winds through the different sections of the gardens, such as the tropical fruit garden, the herb garden, the butterfly garden, and the palm garden. Along the way, we'll see some amazing plants and animals, such as orchids, bromeliads, hibiscus, hummingbirds, butterflies, and turtles. We'll also learn some fun facts and trivia about the gardens and their history.
