I live in largo! Right beside the largo central part and i didnt even know it had ALL that stuff!!! Im excited to go check it out! I have also been wanting to go to the botanical gardens for awhile now. I dont know why i havent been outside to enjoy all this beauty but depression makes you like that unfortunately.
The west coast in Florida is very beautiful. I did the bike tour up and down the coast and loved it. Enjoyed watching your video. Thanks 👍🙂

Largo is a great place !👍😉Taylor Park on 8th Ave., and Largo Nature Preserve just south of East Bay Dr. on Highland Ave. are also great places.

Yum that avacado toast, the combination of feta and mint is so good! Love that the kestrels were called Slash and Slayer, haha
Yeah, we got a good laugh out of the kestrels name too. I think that avacado toast was the first time we'd ever experienced the mint and Feta combination, but we agree that it was amazing!

I lived in Largo almost all my life, the Coffee Mill is about a 5-minute drive at most from where I used to live!
I imagine it would have been a pretty fund place to grow up! We would love to live that close to the Coffee Mill. It's a great spot!

I love the Botanical Garden anytime of the year but its probably the nicest in April and May. December is also a good time to visit with all the lights. Also Largo Central Park is amazing in December with all the Christmas trees and lights. They even have rides for the kids.

Man, another hidden gem in the area we didn't realize was there....I know we've driven through the Largo area now it looks like we have to stop and check it out on a future visit!
We were really surprised by largo. The botanical gardens was one of the most impressive free things that we've ever experienced in Florida. And they have some really good budget friendly restaurants as well.
Unsure why I decided to watch this with an empty stomach but I pretty much regret it now. Love avocado toast so much. What a cool farm to visit after! Animals give so much joy! Your dinner spot seems so nice, glad they had good deals as well.
Yeah, you should really know better by now 😂 But I'm pretty sure we went and ate everything in the fridge after watching your videos a few times, so I guess now we are even! 😅

We love finding little coffee shops like the one that you found at the beginning of the video :) Nothing like delicious food, good coffee, and a cute, cozy environment to start the day! Loved the cute little farm too! The mini horse and the bunnies were adorable. You can tell how much a natural Skyler is with all of the animals. He definitely grew up on a farm! That restaurant you went to for dinner sounded like it awesome deal. It's hard to find any beers in the US for $2.50, let alone a delicious craft beer!
Yeah, that coffee shop really felt more like something you'd find in Vermont or something. Definitely not your typical Florida coffee shop vibe which was a nice change! Skylar is definitely in a natural with farm animals, we'd probably be living on a farm with 10 donkeys right now if it was up to him 😂

Seems like the perfect day! I really loved the nature stops you made - and that petting zoo, goat yoga and nature walks looked like something we would enjoy too. You had some great food options that day - it all looked so tasty! And to end with a brewery seems like the perfect ending (in our beer drinking opinions). I'd definitely visit Largo!
It was definitely a nice change of pace from our normal beach days. We normally do find beaches to be really relaxing, but being around animals and out in nature is a really good stress reliever too. And we're all about trying to make videos in low stress environments!
I loved your vid! I love to go exploring & I really enjoyed seeing the animals, plants, & food y'all tried. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely check out Largo. It is definitely underrated from the cool stuff y'all found 👍😎

Don't worry, almost noone has! It's definitely one of the cooler places we've visited lately though! We had a blast.
That donut looks amazing! My dad lived 3/4 a yr in Largo Florida and sweared it was Paradise!!! Bought a unit in a nice private gated community of modular homes becoming THE Shuffleboard King from Ohio!

Wow this video was a lot less beaches and full on different kinds of animals. The turtles and bunnys were cute and I think i have seen that goat yoga over here. Just wait for my video next week and you'll see butterfly galore... since you didn't see any here. I went to a green house and there were hundreds.
Your food spots looked great and just loved all those seafood meals you tried. The 35 dollar special was a great price for what you got too.
Not sure I'm too into sour beers... after a sip of the first one i probably wouldn't have gone any further...lol.

Yeah, it's always fun to switch it up once in a while, and we always love visiting animal sanctuaries. We really had no ideal that this city had so much cool stuff to do, but after a few people had recommended that we go make a video on it, we decided we better check it out. Looking forward to seeing seeing the butterflies. We've actually been to a couple butterfly gardens recently that had no butterflies. Must just not be butterfly season!

You should have mentioned Heritage Village next door to the gardens! Also a hidden gem!
Yeah, we fit in as much as we could in one day, but Heritage Village was on our list of places to visit if we had a little more time!
I still prefer Hallandale beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city growing businesses and communities.
The Roosterfish has the best Gulf Seafood in the area.
We certainly can't disagree based on our experience. It was great!

Greetings Ya'll, just saw your video this morning and thanks for the tips about Largo. We will be staying in Largo for it is a great central location. Close to Clearwater, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete & St. Pete Beach too! This will be our second trip to the area. Looking for some recommendations on water views dining (Sunset maybe, too). We know of some, Frenchy's Rockaway Grill, just north of Pier 60. Also Backwater Grill & Traven on Sand Key. Great bay views. Any other that you would recommend. Thank You!!
We also enjoyed Boulevard Burgers and Tap House on St. Pete Beach. We are looking forward to doing our own craft beer tour in St. Pete along Central Ave area. (Did see those videos) Are Trip will be in mid-May.

Great decision, Clark. Largo really is a great central location. Yes, Frenchy's is a great spot for waterfront dining, as is Palm Pavilion (also right next to Frenchy's). We recently had a good water-front meal at Mangos in North Redington Beach. Pass A Grille has a couple good spots in the Hurricane and the Brass Monkey. If you want an actual toes in the sand experience, then Bongos in St. Pete Beach is a great spot. For more casual dining, we enjoy the Dolphin Bar on St Pete Beach and Madeira Beach Snack Shack.

How is the drive from largo to Clearwater/Indian rocks beach? Is it a long drive because of traffic ?
Hi Bri. It really depends on the time of day and day of the week. On a normal weekday you can often make the drive in 20 minutes, but on a weekend it could easily take you twice that long, maybe longer.

Hi,would you guys move to Largo ?
We could certainly see ourselves living there. We really enjoy living where we currently are in downtown St. Pete, but Largo does have a lot to offer and is close to the beaches. So if we were to leave the downtown area, Largo with definitely be one of the areas that we would consider moving to.
Is it flat and hot there? Do they have Bars and Restaurants?
No, very mountainous and no restaurants anywhere. You must hunt your own meals. 😂

That's a good question, but unfortunately we don't have the answer for you.... as we don't really know anyone around here in the IT business.
