Well I definitely don't have a fuel issue. Changed all lines and filter and it still doesn't want to start on it's own. It's a lot cooler since the days it did start with no issues. I'm gonna say it was jetted to run in the warmer months and I'm not messing with them. It starts fine with a little WD-40 and I'm from a diesel background and a lot of older guys say WD is better to use than ether for years now since it's a lubricated start instead of a dry start with ether. But once it's warmed up it runs smooth as ever with full RPMs on run up. I bet I could warm up the engine with a salamander it would fire up first pull.
@@jamesordwayultralightpilot should be a 45 if it were me id pull it out and inspect it. do you have a choke on your carb? you do have a bing 54 right?
@@jordonweets just pulled the pilot jet and its a 40. Looks like it's jetted for a different altitude. The air has been a lot more humid the past month as well so it would account for the change in conditions. I'm gonna buy a 45 pilot next and see if I can get her to start on her own.

What do ya got for a pilot jet? your running a 503 correct? And lastly what's your elevation?

Great vid but noticed when your turning need to add rudder your turns aren’t coordinated maybe you are just doesn’t look like it! Cheers!
I only use rudder and elevator since my plane is a old school quicksilver mx its only 2 axis doesn't even have spoilers
