- These are my top 10 venomous snake encounters. I limited this list to Cobras, Corals, and Kraits. The order is based on the whole experience, not how lethal the snakes are. Enjoy!

Hey, Lou. Great video of your top ten. What i love about your videos is that your top ten are from your own videos and not someone else’s. The Cobras are always impressive but the Golden King, #1, was truly one to behold. Keep them coming, amigo. Blue skies.

Yeah, it was a tough call between the blue coral and the king!
Solid list man! Awesome footage as always
Thanks so much. Yeah, hope to add a few species to it in 2020!

U rule Lou! My favs are the Gold King Cobra. He's really good, lol! Also the electric blue Coral snake. I thought I knew pretty much everything. But you hipped me to those two. You should run for Governor of SoCal!
Great video Lou love that Malaysian coral snake red head and red tail very unique.
Thanks. Yeah, those Blue Corals are awesome looking snakes
Great video!
Thanks so much!
BEAUTIFUL
Thanks. Had fun finding each and every one of them. Lou B
Always enjoy your videos. I was curious, do you keep any reptiles yourself? I would imagine being a pilot it isn't exactly the greatest job to keep them yourself, being away regularly.
Thanks so much. I have a few snakes. Maybe I'll make a video about my collection. It's only a couple though.
It's good to be king. Thanks Lou!
That it is! It's my pleasure.
Now you’ve done it.. I’ve been out of herping for the better part of 20 years, but after living vicariously through your tin and rock flipping I’m definitely off to my favorite old Southern Illinois spots for my 62 birthday in April.. After that, who knows?.. Maybe a day or two in the Everglades stomping grounds between fishing days..
Lol, that’s awesome. I look forward to hearing what you find! Glad you’re back in the game! More videos on the way. Merry Christmas
@@loub747 hey lou i want you to watch a vid then let me know what you think.on youtube. aplanetruth 4U. Commercial planes dont opetate on fuel...let me know what you think
Why is Blue Coral Snake so venomous and still so small? Amazing.Great work..👌
It can grow to around 5 feet in length. 1 and 1/2 meters. Thanks so much! Lou
I agree with that #1.. Ive had a king ( black) and that gold blows my mind, nice find, keep em coming lou
Thanks so much. Yeah, that golden king was craxy.
#1 is a beauty. Can only imagine what it what like in "real life".
Yeah, such a beauty in real life. Sadly all I have is GoPro video of it.
Excellent video boss👍 (🇸🇬)
Thanks!
@@loub747 You're welcome. Anyways.. I was at Kranji Marshland area (the water reservoir) last week. Saw a black cobra being 'chased' by a king cobra in the reservoir. Very fortunate for the black cobra because the king swim back around to where it came from once it saw my brother and me by the reservoir bank. It is quite a distance from us. I've been thinking do king cobra have a good eyesight or visions of it surroundings? 🤔
Wow, what an experience! I would have loved to have seen that. I believe Kings have exceptional eyesight...for a snake. Very alert and aware it seems.
First! Nice video one more time, Lou!
Awesome! Thanks. More on the way.
Great job Lou! You making another one of these videos for vipers too then? :)
Thanks Ian. I'm thinking about it, but I’m not sure I’ve seen enough Vipers yet.
Lou, your wearing flip flops while hunting snakes is making me nuts!
Hey Mr. Lou, thanks for that wicked cool video! One quick question if you have the time to answer: You said while showing the #2 snake, The Blue Coral, that it had an unusual venom. All I have ever heard about it was a couple years ago someone told me, or maybe I read, that there is no antivenin for it. Not sure if that is true, but can you elaborate on why the venom is unusual? Thanks for your time & I really enjoy your videos. Be safe.
How’s it going. I believe it has a unique venom that causes muscle paralysis. Other snakes have venom like that, but the muscles are stuck in the relaxed position, making breathing difficult. This snakes venom causes the muscles to all contract, and stay that way. Apparently it would be a very painful death. No antivenin. Only life support. I personally know of 2 people bit by this species of snake. Both bites were dry, with no envenomation. Neither seeked medical attention. Crazy, but true.
@@loub747 Thats correct, apparently only two recorded deaths and not a common snake to be found. but this venom apparently activates your entire nervous system all at once. Thus paralysing the muscles in extreme cramp and forcing all air from the lungs, both people who died from these bites did so within 30 minutes of the bite. Seen on 72 dangerous animals on Netflix.
All of snake are beautiful!!
Yeah, I think so too!
hey Lou. some nasty critters there :). oh the golden king mmmmm
Yeah, good times my friend.
Still loving your videos Lou
what gorgeous snakes.. damn..
Yeah, some pretty ones for sure.
Cool, thanks
Thanks. It's my pleasure.

I have to say my favorite is the banded krait
Nerodia
Ben's Channel 2004 android
Nice ...
Thanks. I really don’t like the narrating. I try it from time to time. Lou B
Great idea for a vid. Still sticking with the blue coral as my fav. Thinking this could get some hits.
Actually it’s my sons idea. He says Top 10 videos do really well. Will see. Off to a great start!
Yeah seems like the top 10/top5 do well
you'll have to split the profits with Chance
@@smetlogik I second this. hahaha
@@1finalchance881 I should get a cut for backing you on this one
Come to PNG and check out the Black Taipan - Papuan black. Also in PNG’s 2nd closest neighboring country Australia you’ll find the Brown Taipan snake. Both snakes are said to be the most poisonous snakes in the world.
Yeah, I’d love to. Hopefully someday. Would love to see those.
Watching From phillipines 👍🏻
Awesome. Hoping to get out that way someday. Lou B
멋있어요~가분바이퍼를 본적이 있나요?
You're right that was a beautiful King cobra.
Yeah, so beautiful in person. Hopefully the video does it justice.
@@loub747 it did. Your camera mated up with your skills let us all see about exactly what you did I'd bet. Nice job capturing it on video.
New studies out say the blue coral snake with it's different venom is the most deadly, instantly paralyzes you
Yeah, I’ve heard that. Crazy to think about. I’ve known people who got bit, luckily dry bites.
That King is golden, how fitting
Yeah, it sure is. Stunning snake.
That Chinese cobra looks so dam beautiful ...
Yeah, love that snake. Hoping to see some more someday.
I've also seen 2 couple coral snake Selangor Malaysia moving around together beauty full colour
That's awesome. LOVE coral snakes!
Happy the King is number 1. Although the Singapore King is my fave. What a beast.
Yeah, the kings had to be at the top. That blue coral was so awesome in person.
I like that Singapore king cobra. Next time I’m in Singapore I will look for one.
Yeah, it was really cool. I have a video just on that snake. It's one of my more popular videos at over 1 million views. Crazy!
Hey brother. You ever find a Santa Cruz garter snake? What’s your favorite snake in the US?
I haven’t actually found a SC Garter, as strange as that may be. Found lots of Coasts, and a couple SFs. Favorite snake is the US, I’ll go with SF Garter or Mountain King.
Surprised, mamba was not on the list
These are snakes I found personally. I have yet to find a mamba.
Can you do “Lou’s top 10 snake bites” ?? 😆
iNCApacitated lol, I’m working on it, one bite at a time.
...lol... blue coral snakes are the s*** dude...lol... love your snake boots like I said on a previous video I have the same things people went ape s*** when I let a copperhead work around my feet... they didn't go quite ape s*** when the cottonmouth went over my feet because it was clearly such a surprise but I let the copperhead approach my feet... in all honesty I would let any venomous reptile approach me as long as it's not being overly defensive
The first snake I almost mistook for a garter snake.
Yeah, it definitely has a Garter appearance.
Blue coral are beautiful
Yeah, love em.
How does a Mojave green stack up to these snakes in terms of venom?
I know it’s pretty high up on the lethal scale. Not sure how it stacks up against the Kraits. I gotta go find a Mojave!
LouB747 I ran into one in Rio Rico Arizona while walking my dog. The snake was on the road and seemed agitated that I was on HIS road. Seemed to be coming at me. I was actually trying to get away from him. Big Beautiful, healthy sNake.
Indian common krait???
#1 and #3 are the same?? You put King Cobra on both.
Yeah, this is my personal best finds. 2 king cobras made my list.
hey man utube unsubscribed me i noticed i hadnt seen any thing from you lately and just thought it was the season its boring out here in the desert this time of year for snake catching lol

Yeah, it sure what I was thinking! Lou B
Blue coral for my money is most deadly
How much proof is King Cobra?
It's pretty lethal.
@@loub747 I know, I was talking about the drink tho-haha
And the Malayan krait can easily be mistaken with a rat snake
No 9 i just found at sea.. i catch that snake and sell at pet shop...
Hey Lou
Hows it going.
No 1 was tenage king
Why did the snake cross the road? Who cares hes the freaking king. Let him cross.
Lol. Exactly!
But the King Cobra still can't defeat the Honey Badger and the Mongoose.
LOL, there's that!
Inland taipan is more venomous than a king cobra
Yep. These are just snakes I’ve seen and videoed myself.
Hate nothing to do with this video was just watching another from someone else catching snakes in the Everglades they over ran python dealer I don't think you're playing at Justice bleeders many many many many more than what you're claiming need a good man like yourself to go out there and give us a good solid feel for what is really going on so he ever make it that way south Florida please keep that one in mind thank you and thank you for all your great videos
Thanks so much for the kind words. Hoping to make it to south FL in 2020.
Rubbish, where is black mamba
These are snakes I’ve personally found. I believe I mentioned that at the beginning of the video. Sadly, I haven’t found a black mamba yet.
Nice
Thanks.
