In this case a remap at Whifbitz and a MST intake would have been more cost effective for similar figures and sound.
That’s one way of looking at it 😎
Mine got Airtec intercooler, K&N air intake and Milltek exhaust and oc a custom tune. It does 330hp. With Aventuri it does like 350hp if your numbers are correct.
Sounds great!
Nice video. Does the remap i validate warranty?
Yes it will on the engine itself.
If you run this eventuri
Intake for some time (some hours):
Will the DME realize that there is too much power an cut the
Power down ?
We haven’t noticed that before no.
@@Whifbitz have you measured the intake again after some 100km ?
Looking to get my gr Yaris exhaust and intake done but still looking to keep all warranty and insurance legal and in check. Is a gpf delete legal and ok to insure or just the gpf back?
You would have to check with your insurance company on that one.
Something is not right there with dyno readings.
We are only reporting what we saw.
Yes, this data isn't valuable unfortunately.
These cars suffer from heat soak, could that be the reason the first run was so underpowered
No we tested it monitoring the air temps to make sure they were the same as the beginning of each power run.
Tbh, i dont buy that. Dont see the advantage unless, turbo has been replaced, reinforced pistons and rods, alongside injectors, downpipe , remap and enhanced cooling capacity. It has to go in a while package... by then clutch needing reinforcement, so does the rear lsd..., big investment.
Ok thanks for your input.
What tuning company do you run?
Tbh I don't see the advantage of doing that either, might as well recast the block as a 6 cylinder and scale up all the manifolds and lines. Even then, maybe you just design your own V8 with forged aluminum, steel, or titanium internals and run race gas with two huge low front mount turbos. While we're at it maybe we redesign the car to be lower and wider, change the suspension geometry, why half-ass it right?
