Brandi could’ve easily hit her up and been like “hey I know we haven’t talked in a while, but I’m in need of a girls day to take my mind off of my father passing.” Any real friend, regardless of where you stood at that point, would at least indulge and help her get her mind off of it.
I don’t really know how long they were friends, but if Brandi is mad about Malaysia reaching out it’s probably because Malaysia knew her family and I understand why it seems disrespectful on Brandi’s end.
But it seems like Brandi is carrying this out because it gives her a storyline, I agree with Malaysia about it, because if you’re hitting up Zell then talking in front of everyone how you don’t f with him, you look fake.

And if we are trying to be “friends” on this show I shouldn’t have to bite my tongue. Shaunie always had an unfair advantage over these girls and I’m sure shaunie would have had way more conflict and less “friends” if she wasn’t the boss.

Everyone said Malaysia was fake for that, then season 7 brings Cece and Kristen on and constantly blames Cece for everything and claims they’re family but she didn’t defend Cece to the same women that once again had an issue with Brandi, so she threw Cece in the fire and didn’t save her, then season 8 allows those same women to gang up on Cece and let Evelyn run up on Cece and everything. Now everyone loves Malaysia?? Trust me, I see why Brandi is hurt and it’s not just about getting kicked off the show either, she gave Brandi her ass to kiss and because Malaysia knew she was wrong she stopped talking to Brandi. Duffey has grown a lot since the season she first appeared on. When the cast was announced I rolled my eyes when I saw her but I actually really like her this season. Her energy is great!

This season has been so good and has felt super real. I’ve been on both Brandi and Malaysia’s side with this. It’s tough being Brandi who doesn’t want the friendship to end, and it’s also tough for Malaysia who has moved on and is constantly forced to revisit the situation. Hopefully they figure things out

She did come back after calling Shaunie a "B". a whole other season. They made up The beef was with Tami because Tami felt that Brandi propped up Duffey to fight her. They tried to do the show without Brandi or Malaysia but the show footage was boring. Producers begged Brandi and Malaysia to come back. The girls (Shaunie, Tami and EV ) were ok with Malaysia but they got rid of Brandi by refusing to film with her. Malaysia brought Brandi around anyway and it almost cost her her spot. The part I didn't know is that Brandi refused to film with just Malaysia. Glad M told it all!!!!

As we grow older a lot of the times we lose friends even best friends. This brings me back to when me and my now former best friend had a mini argument. I felt like I was being mature by giving her constructive criticism and she took it as disrespect. From then on things were different. People grow apart especially when you’re trying to elevate your mindset. I felt Malayshia when she said “I didn’t want this, I have grown into a different person.”

I haven’t watched this season yet but I do believe Malaysia when it comes to the part about the past filming HOWEVER I personally think Brandi may be feeling away about Malaysia teaming up with the very same individuals that didn’t want Brandi on the show the following season yes Brandi called Shaunie out and with that came consequences but I think she may be more upset that Malaysia teamed up with the “Collectives” after Brandi was fired, it don’t seem like Brandi wanted Malaysia to stop getting her bag I think maybe she didn’t want Malaysia befriending the other ladies the way she did after Brandi was gone from the show, clearly they all have to film together for there to even be a show but you could clearly see that Malaysia had started to form bonds & relationships with the very individuals who were enemies of her Bestfriend 🤷🏽♀️ I love both ladies and really hope they will figure it all out and repair the broken friendship/sisterhood they once had ♥️

@Erin Clayborn You can't just go by mini clips that were edited designed for you to have a certain opinion about the totality of situation. Malaysia was closer to the situation with CeCe than anyone was being that she is family. With them being family, you have to know that they saw each other outside of the show. Even Stevie Wonder would be able to see that. At the start of this season, the only thing everyone knew is that Brandi and Malaysia were not as friendly as they once were. No one knew the reason why other than what Brandi stated and as you clearly see, it was much more to the story as to why the fell out when Malaysia gave her side of the story. Brandi tried to make it about her late father. Shaunie and Evelyn mended fences; Shaunie and Brandi mended fences; so why would it be so different when it comes to Malaysia because she and Jennifer are cool now. By your theory on Malaysia, this means that everyone must have gone where the wind blew. In this situation, Brandi is wrong to the 10th power.
