Just love the old classics on radio of the past muchbetter than the junk that's on tv now radio helps you have a good memory you can imagine you are right there.
I like the radio show more than the TV show. By the time the TV show was on, the vuadville acts were old and tired, but during the radio version, these jokes were fresh. M, il.
I listened to a lot of Our Miss Brooks while driving in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2017. There's something intrinsically entertaining about them. I still listen to an episode here and there but this one, _Radio Bombay_ as I heard it referred to once or twice, is my favorite overall.
Glad I finally got to hear this episode. Mom talked about it when I was a kid. I grew up in the Midwest and it became our joke whenever a storm was coming to say, "Tether the elephants!"
Crenna was straining to do that boyish high pitched voice. He did it for several years after the radio show ended and it went to TV. But in the end, he had to give it up and to move on to other acting jobs.
I was watching those episodes in the early hours of the morning when they went into syndication. I think Eve Arden was my first crush when I was about five years-old. I was surprised and happy when Eve Arden was in Grease (1978).
This is the famous Bamboo Furniture episode with a Hurricane on the way! Fun stuff...usually Mrs. Davis and Minerva are the best weather forecasters as shown in other episodes!
That should be told don't touch things that don't belong. 2 you and miss Brooks in also not a smart lady for letting her and not knowing what state the weather was in! Wow ! I see why they call woman dumb

Gotta love Our Miss Brooks ❤
Among one of my favorites!
I love our miss Brooks.
Eve Arden was my first crush as I'd watch episodes of the TV series when I was very young. That would be sixty or so years ago for me.
The television version of this episode was one of my favorites. "Got any glue, Mr. Conklin?"

First broadcast over six years before I was born. My favorite episode too.

@@TralfazConstruction As a kid I thought she was so pretty.
@@crystalheart9 Me too. I completely understand that. She informed my opinion of wit, charm and beauty early on.

Ohhhh...this is a gem!
You have to really know these characters to laugh hard. ACK ! I do.
❤️👍📻😎
Don't say hell. It ain't proper English, miss Brooks. M, il.
When did she said Hell?
@@dianebenson4323SPOILER ALERT: Miss B didn't say it but the description says "all hell breaks loose" after she hears the hurricane warning.
