What a beautiful soap!!
I have found if you add spinach powder with the spiralina powder it seems to last longer... just a little something I’ve found.. hope you have a beautiful day!!
That is an awesome tip and I need to try that!
This music was lovely for this video
i could watch you texturing your soap tops all day lol
All of your soaps looks so pretty and look like a cake with icing on top with your swirling design. I wish I can get some of the good hemp oil you use but Canada doesn't sell to the USA. :(
You can get hemp oil in the USA some states like Florida make you have a permit to sell products containing it try Washington state or Oregon
love love this texture!! it’s almost resembles a flower or herb. my first batch of avocado soap turned beige on me. still in love and not sure if it gelled yet but that soft shade of green is beautiful!! need to go powder shopping now
Question: how do you make the essential oil strong yet safe enough to actually leave a scent on the skin? Or... is it just used as an aromatherapy type? Thanks in advance :)
Lovely, looks delicious!!
Can you make a video about how you clean your tools after soap making?
Have you tried Moringa Leaf Power for a green? I use it when I make bamboo soap it’s a nice pastel/ on the edge of darker green.
Hi Jerika, loving your videos. Is there a receipe for this?
Beautiful. Have you already done a packaging soap video?
I love the muted colors in this! Beautiful.
I know you guys are in Canada but are you originally from Seattle? I love noticed you’re big Seahawks fans 😋 I live in Washington myself.
We are in Canada and I grew up in Ontario but Cale was raised in Tacoma, Washington. We met in Korea when we were teaching English and he immigrated to Canada when we got married ☺️.
@@JerikaZimmerman aw how sweet 🥰i love your story
Your videos are awesome!
Thank you so much!
Como deja reposar el jabón hasta el día siguiente cuando lo corta?
May i ask if I stick to one or two recipes and play with colors or fragrance, is it ok or it wont work this way?
I stick to 1 recipe and change only the fragrance and colors. Works for me!
Do you not cover the soap tray once it is kept to harden
I keep reading on several soap bloggers that Indigo powder is difficult to mix and it should be mixed with oil first or added to the hot lye water and yet I watched you just dump it in at trace. Is it maybe the brand of powder that you use?
If you want a very deep blue, I hear using it the way you described is how you do that. I just wanted a nice blue-green, so I don’t fuss with that stuff. The more streamlined my process the better 😀
@@JerikaZimmerman I like your thoughts on this. Thank you so much. Your soap is beautiful.
@@joannpage6691 Thank you! :)
Omg I love this! What kind of fragrance oils do you use for your soaps. I’ve been trying to find natural/organic fragrance oils online but it’s really hard. 😊
What resources did you find to be the best and most helpful for you when starting out and how do you come up with your own or figure out not only how to change/tweak recipes from other people or yourself in order to fix or put your own spin on it is it just a matter of knowing the ingredients and the purpose they each have or something else? How do you know you’re going to end up with a quality, safe and beneficial product, rather than one that’s…. Not?? Dying to try doing some of these projects but scared my inner scientist might be more mad than yours seems to be and I have no pets to test on lol
If you don't mind me asking, can you share the names of the essential oils that you've used here??
Rosemary, peppermint, and lavender.
@@JerikaZimmerman Thank you so much ma'am😊😊
Hi Jerika, what ratio of Rosemary to Mint do you use? My soap using these EO's has faded! I thought for sure they would stay :( I used a 70% Rosemary to 30% Peppermint ratio. I only used 3% /g. as well.
try that in hot process and you'll be amazed at the difference!
@@boop7313What is the difference, if you don't mind me asking?
Cual es la medida del molde que usa?
Hi :) do you use sodium lactate?
Nope!
Non vedo la ricetta? Grazie
