I have all the same settings inside after effects but I continually run into the same issue with warp stabilizer. It always freezes! I purge, save, restart AE and it’s the same nonsense. I’m on my 5th try to warp stabilize 1066 frames. Please help 😭 Intel i7 14th gen Gigabyte 4070ti 64 gb Ram
hey, do u mean the tracker option? if it is, so just wait a couple minutes, or even more. it depends on your clips and layers if for after effects its a lot of work time. tracker always was like this it takes time to make the best track for the selected clip. so at the end of this massage, just try to wait some time and let your pc and after effects work, if it doesnt work, try to look again into some different settings and preferences, imagine about 1 setting that can ruin all your work thats how it goes, if u dont know so then look in youtube and search, there are so much videos about this, i hope it helped somehow.
It generally recommended that you set Reserved RAM at 1/4 of your RAM. I do 1/5. The latest AE 24.6.0 changed the Previews setting a bunch. It's now an Adaptive Resolution slider and a choice between Res and Quality or just render quality. Sliding toward Interactivity will help render speeds and your ability to work while is Adaptive Resolution if you select Resolution & Quality. If you only select Render Quality I would expect it'll only help with RAM previews.

How can i put ae on a separate drive, i have been trying everything but no matter what it always gets installed on C drive, and when i would relocate it after installation some of it would be on D drive and some on C so it would crash every time i open it, is it even possible to put whole ae on a drive without OS?
Hey! What are your thoughts about "cash before playback" in preview section of AE? You're using separate ssd for cash but don't use "cash before playback". Why?

ssd anyday hdd is a physical disk drive that spins so it takes a lot longer and is slower than ssd but hdds tend to be more cheaper and u might have a spare one lying around so if u wanna cheap out on it for ae or jus have one lying around, go for it

another way that fixed all my life problems were in Nvidia settings ypu should try it if you've Nvidia
is ae24 better than ae23 in terms of performance boost and preview speed?
apparently render and preview times are a lot faster in the new 2024 version
My cpu is a I5-12500H and my gpu is a RTX3050 Laptop 4gigas and here performed better using Mercury to render the videos
