I don't know why Facebook keeps removing extra money on my account , I selected boost a post for a post on my Instagram page , it said currently boosted and l call friends who live in Texas because Texas is my targeted audience ,they said they never saw any ads. Besides Facebook removed $15 instead of $2 per day that I selected and no one like the post and no one saw my boosted post . This is annoying can anyone pls help me

The real answer is never but you can boost a post as an ad if it has some meaningful comments you’d like to have go out to cold traffic which is also only done through ads manager
Just completely ignore that it would be impossible for them to guess the human response to your ads in advance. It’s ridiculous they display it at all. You could get way more than that. It’s purely dependent on how actual people react to your actual ad which is based on you. Ignore that date completely.

You'll have to be a business account and then it should let you once you have all of the basics setup.
Ads manager is beta and it has too many flaws, it’s not easy to learn either. Think I’ll be switching back to simply boosting my post 😢

Hello! Yes you have to tie your FB page to your Instagram page and put a card on file for payments.
