Jesus is more interested in having a personal relationship with you than anything else. Seek Him first thing in the morning (Scripture n prayer ) and He will take care of the rest. Like Francis Chan sais: fill yourself with healthy food and there will b no room for fast food. ( it takes some dedication to buy/wash/prepare healthy food compared to the other option, but He helps us in everything).
Jesus said that “if you love me, you will keep my commandments” in John 14 A lot of people think that means you don’t love Jesus if you sin, but really Jesus is saying to love him and everything else will become easier. Just like a relationship with a spouse, the more you fall in love with them, the easier it is to walk everyday and keep your eyes faithful and be faithful to them. If you focus on falling in love with him, your actions just become pleasing to him and sin fades away because sin isn’t pleasing to you anymore.

I don't think this is what the church is supposed to look like--we aren't supposed to pioneer strange ritualistic sounding speak-singing that would confuse others into thinking that it's somehow more spiritual or a better way to connect with God then just being normal... Does my point make sense? We don't need to make up strange ways to be spiritual and connect with God, it's only by the blood!
When the world looks at the church it should be shocked out how different we are simply because of the fruit of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, etc. It should not be shocked at how weird our speak-singing ritual is--so many things can go wrong from the second.
If this thought isn't filled with grace and truth then I hope nobody reads it. I just feel like it's so important to check some of these things and check our hearts. Does our expression of worship PURELY reflect our love for God or is it tainted by the pursuit of man's praise and a show of religiosity?
Hello :) what he’s “making up” is not him as a person talking. it’s the Holy Spirit giving him revelations so he speaks them. it’s like prophecy. since it’s happening during worship the sensitivity to the Holy Spirit is heightened. it’s really just how well you know the Holy Spirit. there’s nothing you can earn btw it’s all a desire of the heart with how much you want to know the Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead. since a lot of people think he’s just a power or a force they miss out on who he really is that’s why a lot of people don’t understand what’s happening when this happens. but the enemy does pervert the works of the Lord so i will be praying for you and just ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand. he’s supernatural. if we’re unaware the enemy will pervert things so get in your word and prayer. i love you but Jesus loves you more 🤍
This is a beautiful authentic demonstration of love back for God. The Holy Spirit teaches me MIGHTLY with this video. Abbie and Joel aren’t even there while they are worshipping. They couldn’t care less about what people think of them, they are connected to their Groom. And the atmosphere allowed the others to go along, and me too. This is how heaven is gonna look like.
