0:36 This is the first time I'm hearing about the CRT's meddling and refusal to allow the use of TMM additive free labels. What a shame. More proof of their unheralded transparency.🤬😢
They suck, they're embarrassed because Grover exposed something they should have taken care of. They're bought and sold by Cuervo and Sauza and the big boys. Then they come out with their bullshit program of their own, which is an honor system. They ask the brands.. do you use additives? Haha who's going to ever say yes
Had some in a bar in Andreas (Jalisco, MX) after visiting El Pandillo (Tequila tourism). While it’s not the first thing I would go to, if a friend pulled out a bottle of the 1940 I would definitely give them a thumbs up.
Was wondering about this last time I was at Total Wine. Thanks for the honest review, I shall add it to the short list to check out when I want a more "budget" option. Salud, Lou!🍻
The CRT Additive Free Issue is similar to GMO Label battle....the Big Companies don't want their Ingredients Questioned by Consumers especially when An Independent Group Outside Mexican Regulatory department does it's own Certification
Thanks for sharing some well priced juice from a new brand. The only tequila I have had from NOM 1416 was Alacran Blanco (someone brought it back from Mexico). Without the Big Lou "thumbs up" I would have looked past Campo Azul 1940/NOM 1416. But when I think of screw cap blanco in the $3X range the first name that comes to mind is the legend - Tapatio. Salud.

One of my favorite budget tequilas and very complex after it oxidized there was so much fruit and agave great for sipping or mixing
Those two go for $23 and $26 in Mexico. Great buy
Wow Great Price

@da900smoove1 -Yes I agree, That's likely very true, but people still have the right to know what they're eating and drinking

I haven’t tried the reposado Lou.
But I have tried the Blanco and agree that it’s good!
