I had the privilege of seeing Ramin and Colm perform together in Les Miserables, early 2014 in Toronto. Colm was the Bishop. It was an emotional night for everyone, especially knowing Ramin's backstory and the importance of playing Val Jean with Colm there. Ramin is such a class act, he talked about integrity in this interview but he has heaps of it himself! He's amazing.
Literally shaking throughout this whole interview, this man is truly living breathing perfection in every way imaginable! ♥

Ruth Faulkner NO RESPONSE - Comment on LesMisBdwy FB that the SONG would be coming soon - maybe contractual thing. Recorded on DVR, so I can play anytime. Checked timing - runs around 12: - the best 5: are missing - FAB INTRO (1:); Katie's thanking RK, and that he'd be back after break to sing; SONG (4:) - disappointing that this episode was ruined - something his fans could enjoy and really want to share - WHAT A RIPOFF!!!

Colm Wilkinson was the Original Val Jean, not the Phantom. That was Michael Crawford....
Colm Wilkinson was the Phantom in the Canadian production. Michael Crawford was in London and Broadway.
Wilkinson was the original Phantom at Sydmonton, though Crawford originated the role in the West End. Wilkinson would have been the original Phantom in the West End as well but he turned it down to be Valjean.
Colm helped in the workshop of Phantom, I think.
Actually colm was at sydmonton , but the original phantom was not going to be colm , but a singer called Steve harley, he had the part, but then AWL changed his mind and picked Crawford,
reminds of someone who dated my key worker but as the phantom in poto and lnd completely different from who he is , maybe a future dr who ?
