What you call Swedish Ivy... we call Persian shield. Here in California, mine is so prolific, that just today I filled my entire green bin with cuttings,. It roots like crazy just by putting a cutting in dirt. I adore it!!! I gift it to everyone who visits my garden, as they all love it too. It has been a challenge keeping everything alive in these triple digit days. For your small wall containers near the back door... I use the small little bag of gravel from the Dollar Store to top dress small containers, which really helps to hold the moisture in when you water. BTW.... your fountain sounds so peaceful !
This week rain every day. We had a month of drought in Georgia. I wish I could show you out black eyed Susan’s and phlox, morning glory, and Southern Magnolia. Not much else bloomed.

With our recent zone change, Persian shield is now a perennial, not an annual. I can hardly wait to try it in the ground and see what happens.

ME TOO!!
Excited for the pond!
Me too!
The heat has caused so many of our plants to wilt but once the heat wave passes they bounce back
Are you beginning to wonder if the heat will ever pass?
@@stonecottageadventures304 We have a break today thankfully!
