Yep, I never finished it but from what I read of like 60 chapters, checks out. A combination of a other successful works, but lacking the charm and writing that made them so great and popular.
Also I don't really find the OP character beating up a villain in one hit all that funny honestly, even with One Punch Man I only found it mildly entertaining at the beginning, so it leaning quite heavily on that idea didn't do much for me. What I did think was funny was that one villain who acted really dramatic but just said the most obvious thing.

Yeah around 60-70 was when it really started to drop off. OPM feels like at least it jokes about different things, its not that often that the main joke is just someone getting one shot.
That dude was funny but was around for like half a chapter sadly lmao.

@@Zyhius Exactly, and one of the key things OPM does is that it actually spends a lot of time on side characters rather than the main character Saitama, because there's obviously no actual stakes in his fights and he's actually a bit boring, the main thing that's interesting about him is his interactions with others and him trying to cope with not being excited by battles anymore. Whereas Mashle from what I heard actually focuses on him and tries to make his fights interesting, while the side characters are pretty bad and uninteresting mostly.
