Trust me from experience, learn these planes slow and in stages, and try to keep as much keybinding commonality between them as you can for things like countermeasures, radar control, etc so that the basics are always the same. Good hunting!
I'm pretty inconsistent tbh. I try keep it in RPT on ingress, and switch it to REC when we get within 25 NM to deny any HOJ shots. Other than that, I sometimes try to get them to shoot a Fox 1 in HOJ and turn the jammer off to kill the missile. Sometimes I forget it's even on.
